I would like to present the “Guild Wars 2 Dragon Lore Book”, a collaborative project by the Guild Wars 2 Community.

55 page lore-book on the dragons of Guild Wars in PDF format by YOU – the Guild Wars community!

This is a compilation of information on dragons from all sources (game text/wikis/fansites/novels), edited and arranged in a logical order. The result is the community’s best current understanding of the game lore.

Presentation
The book is presented, as close as I can make it, in accordance with Arenanet’s own graphic design guidelines. It is illustrated with official Arenanet concept art, cinematic frames and screenshots from the community. Artists / contributors are noted where known.

Updates
Finally, the document is “live” and due to be updated following how the Living Story develops. Ever since Taimi stated “Primordus is active” at the end of Episode 1 LS3, then there have been major implications to dragon lore and additions needed to the text. It is currently up-to-date, but no doubt there will be more on Primordus, Jormag & Aurene soon.

Neat design and concept.

I did notice an error in your teaser pictures though. The Dragonspawn was killed in 1319 AE, not 1320.

Nothing gets past lore-master Konig Des Todes!

The document is a compilation of information from numerous sources including the GW2 Wiki, and that states “The Dragonspawn was slain by Destiny’s Edge in 1320 AE.”

This relates to the events in the novel “The Edge of Destiny”. The Wiki thinks the Dragonspawn was killed in the year after Destiny’s Edge was formed.

It was killed in the days prior to Destiny’s Edge’s forming (they officially became Destiny’s Edge during the celebration of the Dragonspawn’s death). The wiki is wrong. Simple as that. It happens. Already fixed it. The irony is that I’m the one who added that line. So I’m to blame.

The Dragonspawn’s death/forming of Destiny’s Edge and Glint’s death/Kralkatorrik’s awakening are really the only dates we know for the novel that we have – that they are one year apart.
