Guild Wars 2

History:
Cata is a PvP guild that was formed after Anet flooded tpvp with pugs. A few friends of mine got tired of being teamed with players with lower skill levels. I decided to pull us all together to make a guild of 25, which left about 17 slots open to invite other skilled players. Once all 25 positions where filled, they where open to be challenged by other people wanting to be a part of Cata. This made sure we had 5 teams ready to tPvP. No more random pugs.
I was called to deploy to Kuwait for a year. When I returned, Cata was not it’s self. We did not have a full roster, and there was a power struggle that caused bad blood among the original leaders, therefor ending Cata. I decided to put my guild aside until I was ready to reform it, and next time make it better.

Now:
After making forums, and laying out rules, and how I want my guild to operate, I’m now ready to re-open the former beast, Catalyst Uprising.

Recruitment process:
All candidates must fill out an application at (cu.shivtr.com). Once I review your application, you will then be invited, and required to duel me or team with me in a match. If I feel you are skilled enough, you will be given a slot as a member of Cata. Note: once all slots are filled, you can lose your slot via challenge.

What I’m looking for:
I need 4 officers. You must be over level 50, and understand the PvP mechanics of the game. I require everyone to have TS3, also. You will be given full access to forums, with special privileges. You will also assist me on filling and setting up challenges for the last 20 slots. You can only be challenged if I say so.

Rule:
There will be NO TROLLING. If you are offended by another gamer, simply speak with your skills. In other words, kill them. It feels much better. If you have a problem with a member of Cata, please inform me or an officer. I will handle all situations. I do not want a repeat of what happened before. You must have TS3, and a mic. Other than that, you are required to have fun.

Holl. I know this might be confusing but you keep posting on these team things so I’m going to help you out. Your on EU correct? So unless you have an NA account as well you can’t join an NA team. Also you should try to make it out of the percentages or at least get your rank up and people will take you more seriously. People don’t even take me seriously and I’ve given up trying to get on a team until I’m r60 and stay in top 100.

Well thank for the tips, but where does it say in this forum that its NA? And ive been PvP’ing a lot in the last 6 months and am rank 40 to feel that im pretty ready to start doing some serieus tPvP. And its quite hard to get into top 100, half of the time im stuck with inexperienced players who don’t know the difference between far and close on legacy of the foefire and the half I’m with some good people. :/ yes I’ve been posting a lot in this forum, but hopefully sometime I’ll get in somewhere.

It’s a mixed forum you need to pay attention to servers or in the titles of the topics where they all say NA or EU. But SBI is NA.

I don’t even mean top 100. Just get out of the percentages. If your decent and you play as many tournament matches as you say you do you would be out of the percentages by now. I’m not sure you understand the difference between tournament s and hotjoins.

Good keep it up man, it’s tough getting on a team, I’m struggling as well.

I submitted and application and just wanted to add that I also am around rank 500 in TPvP and rank 400 something in solo queue.
