Thornwolves <BiTE> was founded barely two days before HoT was announced – and we’re doing amaze!
Currently at 75 active members.
Our Aim:
To build a solid core, continue gathering new and veteran players, and create a very enjoyable environment to play and progress in.
Our Interests:
PvE, PvP, but no widespread WvW, to allow for inter-server.
“Good old vanilla” gaming.
Funky homebrew events. (lots of them)
Mission
Our mission is to build a community of like-minded players, both new and old. We want to share fun and challenging experiences together, growing as gamers and personalities. Hand in hand improve our skill, knit closer as people and a guild. Foster an appreciation for the hard and rewarding way of doing things.
The Thornwolf Way:
We are building this guild to revolve around your fun and your personal progression in it. As MMO gamers, we’ve been in a plethora of guilds and it has always been the case that in-guild progression felt stale, boring, and the same. This is why we are making a rich rank progression in our guild which is meaningful and challenging.
Having a higher rank in the Thornwolves means that you are both a regular -and- a skilled player.
What does this mean?
It means that you pass trials to rank up. The progression is gradual. Each rank brings you perks and tries you, so you are more skilled, more in tune with the guild, and ready and willing to take on the new rank and its responsibilities.
The first inside rank in the guild also has the easiest trial – exploring our Home Base and getting familiar with Raidcall, which we require for listening, at the very least.
But later on, the Trials will be deadly. The Trials will make you sweat. The Trials will really test you. After all, you yourself decide when you are ready and when you would like to rank up. Hold your horses, though! You can only pass 1-2 trials per month, so we honor our long-time regulars.
You Decide – You Win
Rank up twice and you will have to make a choice – who will you be in the guild? Will you be a deadly Shockwolf, or an experienced Spiritwolf? Or a charismatic Goldwolf? You can only pick one. Each means a different thing, and each can do different things. Your choices shape who you are in the guild and what the guild is for you. The trials will tell if you are suited toward each.
