The Free Armed Ronin of Tyria (FART) are recruiting.

Who are we? We are a newly set up guild on the Ferguson’s Crossing server. The guild is jointly run by a member in the USA and a member in the UK; both with many years gaming experience.

We have set up to try and bring something laid back & casual to Tyria but with that said there will be one main criteria for membership – when playing we will expect you to represent us. After all, why join a guild if you do not wish to take part in its community?

Community is what we want to build in the guild. We want players who will come together and help each other, take part as groups in PvE, WvW, PvP, dungeons & fractals.

We at FART want to build a great community and we want cool, laid back players that want to enjoy the game but don’t take themselves seriously (our acronym is FART – you can’t be serious). RL is hard enough without having stress in game.

This is a great time to join as we are looking to recruit players that enjoy the varied game challenges GW2 gives. In the long term we look to recruit and promote players into officer roles that will specialise in PvE, WvW, PvP, dungeoners, etc.

We want to develop players that love the various aspects of the game and will therefore become experts and leads in the aspects they love to play.

Above all we want to have fun and a laugh whilst playing.

Now is a great time to join. Be a part of the guild development at outset.

It’s been pretty quiet with Chrismas but we have recruited and are still looking for players to join us.

We are looking for a mixture of both. Above all we want players that are easy going and not going to take themselves to seriously. Whilst we will be running events etc and aiming to progress in the game we want to enjoy it and not have players that are going to have a “tantrum” if a group gets wiped due to a member of the group being inexperienced.

So if you are new then that is no problem at all. In fact Sto (the other leader) loves helping new players explore Tyria.

I love that fact that you have a forum, it’s nice to keep in touch with guildies even when u cant login.

I’m on a different world, but by guesting you can party together. Is that a problem?

Thanks for the interest. Iy is unfortunate that the guild id on a NA server so you would not be able to guest (I wish Arenet allow this). I’ll try to catch you in game for a chat.

Our slow but steady recruitment process is moving forward with Ronin now in to double figures.

We are trying to be selective as we see know point in having a guild with hundreds of members and no real social aspect. We aim to have members become friends and get to know one another. We don’t want our members to get lost in a sea of unknown players.

So far we are happy with the progress and the way members are getting on, chatting on Mumble, teaming up. The community spirit is already coming together.

Great to see how we are progressing with our growth. We are not a guild that just wants numbers and this is reflected in our consistent but slow growth. Also of course it means we do not have a large drop rate as we try as best as we can to ensure people who join make the right decision.

We would love to have more players join from the UK & EU.

A busy day/night with a long fractal run. Great fun taking a member in that had never done one before.

I’m still downloading the game (at home, should almost be finished) and am currently at work, however I believe I MAY be able to start playing for the first time tonight (in about 10 hrs) so I was hoping I could go start a server where I could go ahead and join a guild in, and show me a bit around, I’m not new to MMO gaming, however I’ve never played GW before.
