Im looking for a small casual tight nit guild that actually plays with new players-teaches ect. Im fairly new to mmos I dont know the lingo acronyms and what not- gw2 terms ect. I am willing to switch servers-but I will be starting from the ground up so, please only serious replies since im so new im really interested in pve and my story line-so if you have a small guild that loves that jazz pls let me know. Once again Im casual-I work 2nd shift and run into over time- but am free on weekends.I also need time for other games I play solo. From Our Ashes [Rise](BlackGate) is a PvX guild that emphasis community and togetherness. We enjoy all aspects of what Guild Wars 2 has to offer and we play pretty much all of it. Having an atmosphere of friendship will make the game more enjoyable while still having a competitive attitude. Most of us have come from different backgrounds and areas of the game, but we are all here together now and we will Rise to new levels.

Hello! My name is Cate and I am the guild leader for Second Leap [SL] on the DH server. A small casual guild that was based from some guildies from a large guild, and my hubby. Our members are mature from a minimum age of 16 to 40+. This means our chat does not have a lot of have cussing, inappropriate topics, no racism, etc. We respect each other and have a great community. We come from all time zones. All have various levels of GW2 playing experience going back from GW1 to starting GW2 recently. We do WvW, PVE, dungeons, and guild missions. The Unholy Mackerels [UM] is a small-medium sized (30 active w/ no activity req. ~6-15 prime time), social and fun PvX guild residing on FA. Although we are on FA, we allow new recruits to guest to try out our guild and allow time before moving.

Hey there, I wish we could have gotten you in our New Players Night event the other night. We were running around with some of our newer GW2 friends and showing them through the game. I come from the MadCast Gaming community and I think we might be a good fit for you, if you are still looking. Let me tell you a bit about us.

MadCast is a gaming community that is bigger than GW2, but we are working on growing our GW2 sector right now. You can check out our website at http://www.madcastga....com/ips/forums.
I especially suggest you read through the forums some to get a feel for what we are all about! Here are some points you may find attractive about MadCast:

• We have a mature community. While MadCast has no specific age requirements we do have high expectations for maturity. You will find kind, patient people and no drama. The vast majority of our members are over 18 (especially in GW2). Most of our GW2 members are older with careers, and many have families and children.
• We are a serious community with casual gameplay. In other words, the main expectations we have for members revolves around positive contribution to the community and not on a packed GW2 schedule attendance. If you are active in the forums and show up to a few events a week, that is good enough for us. Additionally, because we are casual our community is made out of all levels of players. We have many very new players, some new to gaming in general, and our environment is built on kindness and helpfulness. People will be happy to answer your questions and guide you through things no matter how basic or advanced.
• We have a super awesome, active TeamSpeak group. We enforce strict rules of respectfulness and tolerance among our players, making it a safe friendly place for everyone. People of all types feel comfortable joining in the conversation and making new friends.
• Our community is bigger than in-game. We have a website with a lot of activity and heavy forum use. This is a huge asset because we have people who play all kinds of games over at MadCast, and the forums really serve as the uniting factor among people.
  
  If you check out our website, you will see information about becoming a Full Member of MadCast. This is not something you need to do right away. Our guild welcomes ‘Associate’ Members, meaning we will add you to the guild, you are free to use our TeamSpeak and join our Forums, but you do not have complete access rights for inviting people to the guild yourself, or accessing certain Full Member parts of our forum.
  
  This is a good way to find out if MadCast is the right fit for you before applying. In the long run, to gain any ranking position, we require people to be an official MadCast Full Member.

It sounds like our guild, Just Us Grown Ups [JUGs] could be just the one you’re looking for.

We have quite a few members who are new to the game and we would certainly welcome more. While other guilds view inexperienced players as a hindrance, we view them as an opportunity to help someone enjoy the game as much as we do.

Just Us Grown ups [JUGs] is a very friendly, drama-free guild which is comprised of people 30 yr.s old and older (our minimum required age is 25).

We are on the Jade Quarry server which is one of the three top-ranked servers for WvW. It’s also a high population PvE server and players from all other servers come to ours to participate in it’s events.
