Good eve, name’s Nick.

I started a guild back during GW1 with a few friends and we moved over the GW2. We tried to recruit and become a large guild, alas, we failed. Ever since Guild Missions were implemented, no one cared to rep us (despite having 200+ members on the roster). Quite a few were active, but never enough to finish GMs or large scale events that we hoped for.

Point being, we decided to try and get started again! This time, however, we’d like some help to build up. So we’re looking for officers and honest individuals. People who can we develop good friendships with and make something out of our small clic.

Guild Name
Never Ending Hearts [Nova]

Guild Theme/Meaning
Excerpts from our GW1 wiki page:
“Never Ending Hearts” can be interpreted as either literal or metaphorical, however, the meaning is meant to expand on several ideas that all imply connection between guild members and the guild as a whole.

The guild’s tag [Nova] refers to the literal definition of a Nova:
- “a star that suddenly increases its light output tremendously and then fades away to its former obscurity in a few months or years”

Such a definition can also refer to the idea of a beating heart, which can relate to the guild’s name: Never Ending Hearts.

Additionally, the definition of Nova can suggest a more fantastical approach when applying the philosophical ideas of the universe.

Rules
Things are meant to be relaxed in this guild. We don’t want members to feel obligated to participate “just because”.

We do ask for adult behavior. No one should be degrading or disrespecting another member and you can take Anet’s policy into account when consider such a concept.

Server
Sea of Sorrows

Guild Type
PvX, more emphasis on PvE. Yet this can change depending on what the majority of active members decide to do.

Side Notes
We’re looking into using mumble as our chat client. We never used one before but we now understand the value of having one. Mumble is looking to be our main choice, still not decided until we get enough support (no I’m not referring to money, that’s all covered).

As for a website, we’re considering opening a blog just as a main info resource. I’ve been through quite a few clans and guilds in my day to note that forums on websites are usually never used and thus a waste of space and time. So if we really need a website, it’ll be focused on information gathering – such as a blog that’s periodically updated.

Thanks for your time.
