The Server
Maguuma is a very tightly-knit community with one of the most unique and fun playerbases North America has to offer.

Boasting a colorful variety of different guilds, Maguuma has something for everyone. Whether you’re a casual WvW player, a hardcore WvW player, a tPvP player, or even just a guy who likes to PvE, there’s never a dull moment on Maguuma.

One of the most proud aspects of Maguuma is our persistence. While many realms show up strong on the weekend and slowly phase out over the week, Maguuma’s WvW guilds fight hard every night no matter how great our deficit.

Maguuma has a very active community forum at http://maguuma.net/ and a lively public mumble as well. Our Commanders communicate exceptionally well with one-another. Even our occasional karma train is on-call to help defend a keep at any given moment!

What we need
– Oceanic Players: Maguuma has a very strong North American WvW presence. We do, however, lack an Oceanic presence. If you are an Oceanic guild looking for a challenge, Maguuma might just give you that competitive edge!

– Small Teams: Smaller guilds and groups are also welcome on Maguuma. Players who enjoy creating havoc squads will be quite comfortable supporting and being supported by larger guild groups.

– Persistent Players: Maguuma prides itself in our fighting spirit. If you have no problem joining WvW even in the face of a 600+ PPT enemy, you definitely have what it takes to be a Maguumie.

– Humor: Maguuma doesn’t take itself seriously at all. I mean, really, do you guys seriously think that #magswag is real? Hah! . . . . . . Okay, Maguumies, they’re not reading anymore, don’t listen to what I said, #magswag is totally real. Those nerds are just jelly.

– Drunkards: Saturday night. WvW drinking games. Do it.

What we don’t need
- NA prime timers: Seriously, we have enough now. We don’t want to become another kittenstain bandwagon server like some of the teams we get matched up with.

I transfered my guild to Mag like 5+ months ago and we regret nothing. Maguuma it’s a server that actually filled all our expectatives. They have friendly leaders, an awesome kittening strong mumble community, crazy good commanders, awesome good coms and a lot of skilled players.

However, the best thing about Mag is they have the best Chilean Guild.

I transferred to Maguuma 4 months ago by pure accident, and I do not regret it at all if you enjoy having fun in world vs world and meeting some of the best commanders i have seen, i came from SoS 4-5 months ago and the commanders in maguuma are fantastic

Shout out to Maguuma, probably my favorite enemies of all the servers we have faced on SBI. They have no fear, they don’t take themselves seriously enough to get mad when they see their coverage leaks, and have a very strong NA that we always strive to build on SBI. They have all the fundamentals of a tier 1 server, and what appears to be the most unique community on NA, hopefully you guys get some transfer love and can become as strong as you are in NA at all times.

I’d be great if we got some oceanic interest from guilds looking to get a lot of fights. We match against DB/TC/FA in t2 rolls, and CD/SoS in t3 rolls. You’ll never be lacking for people to run into.

No PPT pressure – as said above, score ain’t a thing we care about here. Just looking for our current skeleton oceanic crew to get some more faces to play with. Want all of our timeslots to have people to interact with and have fun.

Don’t need any NA’s atm, though.

You have fought against us and found us worthy opponents, now fight with us as our allies, be a part of the most stable server community in North America and test your skill. Speaking as a player that arrived 7 weeks after launch I can say moving to Maguuma was the best choice I have made in the game so far, there is something here for everyone, roaming, small group, strong GvG and standard WvW are all alive and healthy on Maguuma. We have 10-30 players from NA that have off hours and play with our Aussie commander, he is accustomed to fighting outnumbered and very creative, so any Oceanics that came here would without a doubt have full support of our NA players. Que times are minimal, we have enough NA primetime to put up a hell of a fight on 1, 2 or sometimes 3 maps. Public voice comms are active and provide us with great response times and private channels for roamers, small groups and GvG. I fell in love with Maguuma the first 5 minutes I was here and will never leave, many of you will too.

Bumping this, I too agree with Kitty Bomb, We’ve love more oceanic/sea, we have great match ups and a good skeleton crew who would love more players. It’s not all about ppt for us it’s about the journey and keeping the fight up. If any oceanic/sea guilds are interested in GvGs we have great matchups, looking for some open field fights? We got a lot of that during those time zones. Don’t worry about NA, we got that taken care of =P. Join us!

Of the top 9 servers, we’re the only one with High population and no night time presence. We love GvG’s and want to keep pulling t2 servers.

If you’re an oceanic or SEA guild and want to get into the fighting part of GW2, you’ll get your shot here. We likely will never get a week where we have the strongest oceanic/SEA unless we pull two servers below rank 9.

We continue to need an expansion to our small but dedicated night crew. We could also find use for at least 1 more NA guild capable of fielding 30-60 players.

We’ve actually been getting a few more people in, we would love a full blown oceanic guild if anyone would be willing to lead and run that! Our NA is prime and we’re not asking for a T1 or T2 even pop at night, we’re asking for a chance, a good 30-40 man group willing to put some pressure on at night =)

Magswag bump. If you’re an oceanic/sea no matter how big your group is or small and you want to really get into WvW with some good fights at night and no queues just msg me about Maguuma!

If you’re oceanic/sea and haven’t realized that we will be in a position to be the top of Silver League… well realize it! xD We need a strong guild is all we’re asking for at oceanic/sea. We field around 20 up to 30-35 some nights. But no organized night guilds. You could get top rewards in the new leagues, have great fights, no queues, and a really good NA to back you up, and set you up for the night. msg me/pm me in game or on here doesn’t matter, and I will go into more detail! (for any NA guilds looking to transfer, we’re good! thx!)

Going to keep posting/bumping this page for this week. Maguumas oceanic/sea times struggle. A strong guild or more people transferring into those times that enjoy a challenge and enjoy some good fights should really consider it. We are officially ranked 6th (which is tier 2 I guess), and trying to hold for Gold. It could very well not happen based on next weeks RNG matchup. So you could put yourself in a position to gain the max rewards in Silver league or a position of struggling Coverage Wars 2 in gold league. Either way Mag NA will strive and continue to stay strong. These guilds and these people <3 this server. Our NA guilds communicate and work together better than a lot of other servers trust me. Become a well oiled zerg busting machine at night! We’re not asking for bandwagon guilds, we’re asking for people to stay and be apart of this community and share our passion for WvW. We don’t want to be tier 1, we want fights. Consider us please =)
