The Knights of Ares [ARES] on Dragonbrand are recruiting.

If you are new to Guild Wars 2 or a seasoned Veteran, we have a spot for you.

We are a casual North American guild, that is filled with skilled players, and we are looking to expand. We are building a community not just a guild. A place built upon mutual respect between members. Where people can come to learn, help others, complete goals, make new friends, or just hang out. Most of our player base is North American, so we are busiest during prime time in the evenings and on the weekends.

We are mainly a PvE guild (Raids, Dungeons, Fractals, World Bosses, Vinewrath, Etc….), but we also run a WvW Havoc a few of nights a week, as well as having a Guild PvP team. We were one of the first Guilds on Dragonbrand to unlock our Guild Hall, we have since maxed it out at level 68! We are currently running 2 Raid teams, and we are looking to for more Raiders!

We still do the occasional Dungeon run, as well as high level & low level FoTM runs, to help our 50+ members with their progression or daily’s. As well as weekly Bounty Hunts, Guild Rushs, Guild Challenges, Guild Puzzles, and WvW Raids, and other in game events and contests!

We provide our members with Experienced Leadership, Magic Find Bonuses, Experience Bonuses, Karma Bonuses, WvW bonuses, a Guild Arena, a Discord Server, and a Website for scheduling. As well as a Private Forum to post on if they need advice or have any requests.

We prefer that our members are on the Dragonbrand server, but we will accept anyone wanting a great dungeon experience or who wants to make new friends while learning about this great game. As the guild expands we will also be looking for additional Officers/Leaders who enjoy scheduling and running events, as well as teaching new members.

We require Majority Representation. You must be 18 years of age or older. There are no minimum level requirements. All professions are welcome. Voice Chat is not required but it is recommended. Our only other rule is to treat fellow members with respect regardless of their rank.

Whats up Kane. Just here to say my 2 cents to anyone looking for a guild in Dragonbrand or another server.

I found ARES while I was in a guild that was stale and consisted of " LFG" and silence in the guild chat. I had been fed up with running dungeons etc with randoms and decided to post here on forums. Kane (Ragingdragon.9475) found me and I was home Since then I have not been bored doing anything. Even if it is just me I can always hop onto Guild Chat and join the conversation on how Sony won the war or how annoying RNG is. Even when I am not online I go on the guild website and chat to everyone using our forums/shoutbox.

So guys if you are reading this and trying to decide what guild you want to join, come to Knights of Ares. I’m sure you will feel right at home. We are all players who want to share and experience and help each other. The leaders/officers all make sure to know who every member is. You are not just another number for guild influence.

Also if you are in an Oceanic/Australian timezone. Do not worry. We have plenty of people on at all time-zones. I should know…I play on all of them. Do not succumb to the copy-paste recruitment message anymore. You deserve better.

Hey man I just read your message to my post. And Honestly I loved it! Sounds exactly like what I have always been involved in. Same as the guild I ran through 3 separate MMo’s over 10 years, after Star wars galaxies, wow had my attention for a while, then we all moved our gaming time to SWTOR.. well I never really liked it. This is the best MMO I think I have ever played.. so different and fresh. I’m hooked!
But it sounds like your guild is a perfect fit for me! Im going on vacation next week. I have no Problems transferring servers for exactly what I was looking for. I do have 2 questions, one does it cost to transfer? And 2nd My younger brother (26) plays with me, same mind set of course, could I bring him with me?

There is a cost to transfer unfortunately, but you are able to guest over to our server for free, but guesting does limit your access to some of our events. And we would love to have both you guys, we are always looking for people with similar ideals that want to help us make our community even better.

We actually have quite a few members on other servers, but we currently don’t have any on Anvil Rock. So unfortunately unless you want to change servers you would not be unable to do WvW with us. But you could still join us for dungeons and other fun events.

I’ve been playing GW2 since it came out. I’ve done what I can solo – about time to join a group. :-) I actually played GW1 for years and never belonged to a functioning guild, so being in a guild is a bit new to me.
