The Royal Order of Fun Lunatics [ROFL] is a small, adult (18+), semi-casual guild in the NA region. We’re a friendly, close community who support, help, and encourage each other, and we welcome both newcomers and veterans. As our name says, our guild is about having fun! It’s great to win, but we believe the fun is also in the adventures and experiences along the way.

We are primarily PvE, with a few members who also enjoy PvP and WvW.

Evenings and late nights are our most active times. Although we’re based in Mountain time (UTC-7), (UTC-6 during Daylight Saving Time), we have members from Pacific to Eastern time.

We have no rep requirement, but we hope our members will represent us as often as possible. All members are expected to represent the guild during missions, events, and activities.

We are a non-elitist guild. We don’t kick members for “not being good enough”. We do our best to be helpful, answer questions, and encourage our members to do the best they can and have a good time.

This seems like a great guild for a low level newbie player to join, luckily I happen to be one of those low key players. I am currently a level 20 Charr (Necromancer) and a good friend of mine is joining me on my adventure, I have played a bit when the game first came out but I got caught up with other games, I would love to get involved with this guild though as it seems like the best place to start a link with the community. I am still new but send me a PM with the info if you are willing to let me in.

Is it necessary to be 18 or older in order to apply to this guild? I am 16 but quite mature for my age. I just started this game last week and have loved the PvE experience so I bought myself the full version yesterday. I would love some help with learning the game (Level 21 Charr Elementalist) and your guild stuck out to me as a friendly unique guild that accepts everyone looking for a good time. i come on normally Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday’s and sometimes weekdays for a bit. Hopefully you guys will look past the age requirement and accept me into this guild. If you do, I promise you won’t regret it

I’m currently looking for a guild to join and I was wondering if it would be an issue that I live in Australia so my schedule won’t be on par with the guilds except for on the weekend? I’m very new to guilds so I don’t have a lot of knowledge and would need assistance, I’ve been doing solo this whole time.

I appreciate your interest in our guild very much, and thank you for taking the time to post to ask about it.

The short answer to your question is, yes, it is necessary to be 18 or older to join our guild.

A person’s level of maturity is only one of the reasons for our 18+ rule. Availability (due to school, parental rules, etc.), and mature subject matter in guild chat and on TS are some others.

You’re welcome to apply if you think weekends only might work for you. The only issue I can see is that you might still end up with a lot of solo time on your hands. I would hate for you to become discouraged because it was difficult for you to find guildies to join with you.
