Guild Wars 2

Looking for either a newb guild, or a guild very helpful to Newbs. Not just “go run this and that, then we will see you at lvl 80”, but actually willing to come run lower level areas with me, show me cool little ins and outs, actually game with me…?

I actually played a bit before (lvl~45 and lvl 25), but have not played in over a year, and I am thinking to use a lower level to get back into it, refamiliarized. Have a lvl 11 engineer (and an instant lvl 20 scroll) named Marticulus. Later I might get back into lvl 45 thief. I am on Darkhaven but willing to switch…
I’m a (I think) good gamer, good at this game, just don’t know all the ins and outs. Look forward to having a blast with you guys. Get at me.

I could interest you in my brand-new guild, Children Of Light And Shadow [LITE]. (Don’t let the name fool you, as the guild isn’t made of children :P) We are on the HoD server, originally, but it doesn’t matter if you switch or not.

My goal for the guild is to achieve a laid-back, and relaxed area where you can come on as you please, and not be removed in the process.

Hiya, Raven! My guild, Ember Solace, actually has a Newbie Officer, who is in charge of helping out new people. Our members are very newbie-friendly, too. We love running lower-level dungeons, helping out with map complete, etc. One of my favorite things to do is help people get Dungeon Master (all paths complete of all dungeons). We’re on Tarnished Coast, but if you’d be willing to guest, it’d work out really well. =) You can read more about us in our recruitment post, plus if you register on our forums, you can get read-access to our GW2 section and see what we’re all about, including what kinds of scheduled events we do.

We have a lot of social stuff, too; Kaz, our Social Officer, just held a Trivia Event on Thursday, and gave away almost 60 gold (all total) worth of prize money. Plus she’s got a raffle going on right now until the end of the month with more prizes. Anyway, if we sound interesting, please check us out and put in an application! The Wolfpack is a new (3/23/2014) World vs World guild on Dragonbrand formed by six founders of varied backgrounds. The guild launched with roaming parties late each night, however, we’re fully experienced with any dungeon you may enjoy slipping in. Before jumping head first to join, please take into consideration whether or not the Inquisitors is the right guild for you. As a guild, we are an easy going group that often spends the majority of our time cracking jokes and mocking each other profusely; we are not a community that is for the faint of heart or whom are sensitive to colorful language, adult humor, or other things that are incredibly fun.

As a community, we are a non elitist group of gamers who believe that a person’s character and actions have greater value than their gaming ability. The goal in Inquisitors is camaraderie, fun, and team bonding. There are no cliques here, even the newest member is welcomed as our oldest.

Guild Rules

1.) Be Polite: Cussing is totally allowed and encouraged, being a jerk isn’t.
2.) Be Active: We’re understanding that real life will sometimes take you away from the game. If you’re gonna be gone for more than 2 weeks, do let us know in mail so we know you haven’t quit the game.
3.) No Begging: We’re always here to help you, but it’s not a free ride either. Remember to pull your own weight and help others.
4.) Have fun: This is not just a guild, but a family.
5.) Guild Colors: Although not an enforced rule, we love showing our unity by wearing our guild colors of gold, white, and red.
