What To Expect:

While Vanquish has an open-ended focus, our members are predominantly focused in the PvE realms with heavy interests in Fractals as well as open-world PvE including world bosses and meta-events. Expect fair, casual-competitive group content not just for PvE but also during the times we set foot in WvW and PvP (emphasis on fair). Above all, expect lasting friendships that will travel to old and new realms for years to come.

• We are a medium sized guild with the intention of quality over quantity.
• We are not a meta-based guild. With emphasis on fair, you will not be forced to run specific builds. (Most members do not run meta and we encourage members to branch out of such.)
• Guild Missions hosted twice a week. One hosted at Vanquish and one hosted by our close friends and alliance guild.
• We have a wide range of players in our guild from different races, ethnicity, sexuality, age, class, and gender. Discrimination will not be tolerated.

Hi Rome, sorry for the delayed response. In total we have ~130 members. Of this number, many play on a daily basis for several hours, some for a few hours, some more casual, and some alliance mates. We live by the motto “quality over quantity” so while we may not have huge numbers, we have quality members. Besides, a close-knit guild where everyone knows each other is better than a guild full of strangers, right?!

As of late, Vanquish has primarily been delving into:
-Fractals (all scales) generally just after reset-time everyday
-Guild Missions twice a week (Sunday afternoons and Friday evenings)
-Private arena for your daily PvP’s in a non-competitive yet organized environment
-Dungeons groups forming semi-regularly in the afternoons and evenings
-Dungeon master groups forming semi-regularly for those lesser-ran dungeon paths
-World boss tours just before reset

We are also a guild that does not force meta-specific builds on you. Furthermore, with raids and increased Fractal levels, we will be drifting further away from meta-based builds. We encourage those that enjoy diverse play-styles (from pseudo-healer, tank, condi-tank, etc. roles) to join us.

Vanquish has officially maxed their guild hall as of May. If you like the luxuries of a full guild hall, Vanquish has it. However, we are more than just a guild with a maxed out guild hall:

Vanquish is generally focused on PvE content such as Fractals (of any scale), map meta-events, large and small scale events and chains, dungeons, traditional boss tours around reset, guild missions (twice a week), and more!

We’re a flexible and accommodating guild for build versatility in that we never have and never will force meta on you (we actually encourage you to think outside the box and run things other than meta!). Some exceptions may apply when necessary*.

Hello, I am a returning player and the game seems very different now and it looks like I have missed out on some exciting stuff with the living story. I’m Currently looking for a guild to learn from and participate in group events. I was wondering if you have any event schedules or just specific times when more people are active?

We have scheduled events for our GM’s and NA primetime events every week. Our EU events are being planned along the way with a few days notice to 14 days (because of IRL), peak time is around reset with the NA-crowd, but we have a strong presence from EU-time to late NA. Our quiet zone will be SEA time, since we do not have a lot of members in that time-zone. But there will usually always be around 2-5 ppl online during SEA time

But give Weskay.9275 (NA) or me (EU) a tell in-game and we can provide you with the information you would like to know around your timezone.
