Guild Wars 2

The Guardians [TG] is a large, mature multi-game gaming community with a rich, variegated history that was originally created for Star Wars Galaxies – currently we have multiple gaming divisions in different genres, including Guild Wars 2!

Our GW2 division has been present on Isle of Janthir since the game’s release and we are proud to say we have represented IoJ since day 1. We are a true PvX guild with members participating in PvE, WvWvW, and sPvP activities – guild events are run a few times a week on a regular basis including but not limited to WvW Wednesdays, Guild Mission Thursdays, and Guild Dungeon Nights. All members of the guild are encouraged to create their own events at any time, not just officers.

To support these events, we have every guild mission unlocked and all current buffs and support items are available for both PvE and PvP. Guild taxes are non-existent and all events are funded through voluntary contributions (if even needed). Alt-o-holics are always welcome.

In addition to our gaming exploits, the [TG] community is also involved in various RL charity and health/fitness programs – as an example, we successfully raised over $2000 for Children’s Hospitals in October 2012 and many of our members have participated in marathons for different charity groups.

We’ve changed some events around! Tuesday night is WvW night, and Wednesday night is sPvP night. Guild missions are still on Thursday. These events start at 8:30 PM ET.

We also enjoy dungeons, fractals, and hunting for Poobadoo (well most of us, some try to save him).
