I was thinking about doubloons in LA and made a little brainstorming rant that was very informative and many in /map liked the idea.

I was thinking a way to enhance jeweler to add more transmogrifying sections (maybe for 401-500 come ascended trinkets/rings/amulet update? Also legendary accessories?).

It dawned on me after seeing the prices of Heavy Bag of Skritt Shinies. 14+ s a pop which has a very low chance of dropping silver doubloons (now priced a 1g +). The bags only drop in WvW btw.

The recipes would be like this and may fall under the same crafting levels as other gem transformation or go to 450+ level and all be up there when new or existing legendaries/ascended gear appear:

Don’t really need more coins, but being able to make the current ones is a good idea.

I’m reluctant to level alts because I lose my chances to get instant doubloons to sell.

What would Legendary trinkets do that Ascended trinkets don’t?

You will probably be able to chose your stat combo, like legendary weapons.

I am also 100% sure that Ascended Trinkets will be introduced before Legendary Trinkets.

Choosing the stats every time before a fight like all legendary stuff do now.

The assumption is that Silver Doubloons are “broken” is questionable. I think they know what they’re doing and these items are intentionally rare.

I have 3 level 20 alts parked in a jumping puzzle and I get about 1 SD per day between the 3 of them and I forge the pebbles I get to make them as well.

They are very obtainable and Juggernaut is well worth it.

I do. However, my post stays true to uncrafted trinkets as well.
