Q:
Arah dungeon - what paths DO work?
A:
Sylvari / Forgotten is the best for farming.
Asura / Mursaat is the hardest working one. Great challenge, long dungeon. Not very rewarding, but fun experience.
Norn / Jotun is a nice in-between, the final boss was a good brain teaser.
Human / Seer is bugged at the end / second to end boss. No confirmation anyone’s killed her yet.
All of them work.

Dwayna has been confirmed killed on this forum with a ingame screenie to prove it.

Mind actually linking that?
Ignore DKP, he is the resident defender of dungeons and anet and just lies outright if it fits his agenda.
We have multiple reports from people that say Dwayna keeps resetting to 80%.

Dwayna has been killed by using exploit. Without that she is unkillable in the current state.

I believe its in this with a picture.
After discussing with the poster of the owner of the picture. I came to the conclusion that yes it is actually possible to do this path if you and your team know what your doing.
However I still think the healing should be fixed, or at least make the sparks less volatile. In return, perhaps make the actual boss fight harder.

We didn’t exploit. In fact I’ve reported every wall jump, buggy event that I have ever come across with detail screenshots and thoughts on what might be making the event bug, so I really am getting tired of being called an exploiter. Copy pasta from the other thread:
It really is no trick, the entire fight is getting the sparks locked in fast. It’s 100% all about the sparks. She will put a blue ankh like buff on her right before she disappears, leave to get sparks then, don’t wait until she disappears the amount of healing she will do in 1-2 seconds is x100( probably less than that but I felt the need to exaggerate to convey my point) what dps you could do in those 1-2 seconds. As far as actually getting the spark in fast, we use 4 people to get sparks and 1 person using water to get people out of stoned form. The spark aggro is extremly jumpy, Im talking it will attack whatever is closest to it, so we have everyone run the same direction around the statue with the sparks so that if someone does pass off aggro they are still going to be going around and into the slots. Frequently, you’ll get four in and have one up, when this happens look for a blue circle on the ground (it looks like a targeting circle except slightly jagged), get the spark in there and proceed to dps. Obviously get a poison up on her as she disappears. Also, pet classes will wreak havoc on spark transitions. If you do have a pet class with you (excluding messmer as they can just shatter their clones) make sure they are on the one that is easy to get in and get out fast with. It is the one that is back and to the right when you first walk up to the statue.
Could the statue graphic use a better indicator? Yes. Could the sparks be melee instead of ranged to make it easier to maneuver them? Yes. Is the fight bugged and can only be done by exploiting? No.
I don’t quite buy that, the only time we got her below 50 was when a spark lingered around for what we are assuming was a buggy reason. We only replicated that twice and both times were able to get her below 50, because she wouldn’t disappear for a bit longer. We consistently got the sparks back in record time, but it didn’t make a difference as she’d just vanish again at 50%. You didn’t even mention not needing all 5 sparks (you only need to put ones in shielded icons to start), so it tells me you just bullhorned it until it worked. I believe it’s a valid tactic, but I don’t think it’s the one intended. Or supposed to be achieved that way. Grats, regardless. I just talked to someone else who did it and they said they did the same thing, wailed on her endlessly until she just seemed to die (2 hours).
I’m just telling you what worked for our group, whether you buy it or incorporate anything we do in to how you attempt it is your own prerogative. Our first kill took us about 2 hours of attempts. The actual kill took about 30 minutes, pet aggro killed us on two spark rotations at around ~25% that reset her to ~75%.
Two hours to kill one boss is a kitten kitten. I dont care what you say but this is now how the fight is supposed to go. No matter if the boss is eventually killable in 2 hours or not killable at all..both cases are design flaw and it needs to get fixed.
