Apparently people found new way to kitten players. They let you join their party and then they kick you at the end boss. Without any good reason. Only replay I got from them is “we don’t want to play with you”. I checked they did not fill my spot, they finished with 4 players.

I also get a lot verbal abuse when joining parties. After the abuse and learn to play they block me. So if I show up with specific class I’m allowed to be abused and get blocked without even them seeing me playing?

The worst part is that no one stands against it. They just stay quiet and hope to get done with the dungeon already.

This have been getting only worse over these two years.

What are the possible reasons? Any idea?

What a highly intriguing discovery of how humans can be such kittens.

I mostly wanted to see if we could get to another point… If you know what I mean. Just for the sake of science.

More newcomers not reading the stickies of the dungeon forums. I should be reporting this one for polluting the landscapes, in hope that they’ll see that a 1000th post on the same matter is not actually wanted here.
And to the OP as you can see here, we’re tired of seeing people post the same thing everydaycand that defined our style. And like with most people not making the tiniest efforts, like in real life, the others will stay quiet and just hope someone else will answer this time so they won’t have to bother. It’s a real shame that we had to come down to this behavior in our GW2 dungron subforim community now.

I will be the first step up and admit I was bullied in this forum. Irisng made me give her my lunch money or else she would fight me at 3pm at the flagpole. Out of fear and regard for personal safety I gave her the lunch money. Later in the cafeteria I was hungry, and I saw her drinking two chocolate milks. I cried inside.

Really now? You’re entitled to your opinion even if it’s based on inaccurate information. Btw I’ve played with most of these “bullies” at one point or another and they are awesome people. Just cuz you’re in the minority doesn’t mean your bullied, yesh.

Not really. Generally speaking, when I know of places that exist where I dislike everyone, I tend not to go there to cause trouble. It’s reasonable to expect people in polite society to avoid conflict in that manner.

What happened minutes before the kick until the kick in question?

Joined a cof party for p2 opened the path for the group cause they couldn’t open it everything goes well until the 3 shamans after the devourers.
I go in and start to kill but apparently that is not how you do it these days you need to stack on corner wait for the 3 guild warriors to pull the group and stand in the corner.

The mobs were 50%hp by the time they stopped raging and joined the fight after that we go the next room i get kicked for yet again “not stacking and attacking too soon”

So the guy who opened the dungeon gets kicked just because he managed to fight against simple mobs without stacking.
I am getting seriously sick of this must stack or kick mentality on even the simplest of the fights. And still no way to report these people because you lose the kitten party chat after getting kicked from the party.

Nowadays you should be able to see list of name of the group you were last time. The problem is that reporting them doesn’t even have any effect. At least I have not seen any difference. And in a worst case scenario they will party report just for fun of it.

I didn’t know that the older crowd of gw2 community have been getting even more worse than before. Well I can’t blame them completely, since we are forced by the poor game mechanics or so called “meta”. And the newcomers are treated wrongly as also educated wrongly.

I have seen way too many lfg who seek “meta” only. Realizing later that these players don’t even know what it is. They are just hoping to fit in and later on they learn only one way to do it. This is where the whole nonsense starts, especially if they get out of their comfort zone…

Ignore them and find a different group. Thats all.

Yeah I agree it sucks, but thats what the report button is for.Yes reporting actually does something, and the devs have stated on several occassions that grief kicking is a bannable offense, and does happen. However, it is something that is hard to prove, and thats why you may still see the same players around. If they are not saying anything mean in chat (PM, party, map, say, etc.), then theres not much they can do.

The GMs that do respond can’t prove that they did it just to be kittens, as as they stated, they didn’t want to play with you.
Maybe after going through the whole dungeon they found that your build/skills/playstyle were not working for them, and didn’t want to take any more chances at the end boss.

So while yes there are cases where someone is being kicked, and no reason given, here in the forum have no idea if indeed the OP was at fault. Maybe he was being too chatty and the rest of the party didn’t like it. He could have been the best player ever, but said something that upset the party. who knows.
