Is it me or can any party clear the mobs after the thief boss?

They are just to many too handle. I just had to stick my big norn body and hug the wall on the left side.

I do think you are meant to skip them. At least that’s what my guild always do, and because AN didn’t change anything about them in last “fixing” patch – I take it as an confirmation to be allowed to skip them.

On the butler route, you have to go through the same area filled with mobs. If you skip ALL the mobs, you miss out on a chest. I think they are meant to be killed. I’m not sure how, we haven’t done it yet.

I think you can skip the first two mobs (there’s a big path up the side, it’s not like you have to run through them and abuse leashing…seems intended.) Then you kill the last ones by the exit and that gets you the chest.

You can skip them, but personally I hate skipping mobs so what me and my party do is attack one, they all chase and just run backwards attacking until they de aggro then use immobilize etc to pick off the stragglers until none are left.
