Sometimes when I’m doing CoF path 1, I’ll randomly not be able to switch weapons for the final boss. The switch weapon icon will be greyed out, and pressing the button will do nothing. Anyone else get this? It’s kind of a major bug it seems.

I get this often during CoF 1 runs, to fix it you have to got to your hero window (usually H) and click on the switch weapons with your mouse. I’m not sure what causes it.

I can confirm that this fix works, and what causes it is the cinematic.

Specifically – if your “weapon swap” is on cooldown when the cinematic begins, it will remain unusable until you leave the zone (or until you use the Hero screen to adjust weapons).

Cinematics strike yet again. Does anyone actually watch them? I skip even if I’ve never done the path before.
There should be a “Disable Cinematics because nothing kittens you off more than having your gear rearrange/inventory rummage/trading post dealings interrupted by obnoxious garbage that closes your open windows” option. Don’t even get me started on that unskippable one at the start of the Grawl Fractal, right in the middle of my weapon change, every kitten time.

It’s a common bug. It sometimes happens in other places as well (yesterday it happened to me in AC).

You can also get similar bugs going underwater when something else is happening.
