Dungeon Patch Discussion: 3/26
Nerfing the only somewhat decent way of obtaining something in this game that doesn’t involve real life currency is an amazing solution. Oh wait.
You should stop and think about this for a few minutes. If you did, you would realize that the only reason CoF is “the only way” is because it’s so far more profitable than everything else.
If CoF 1 didn’t exist, you’d think other stuff paid well, and I do believe prices of things on the TP wouldn’t be quite as high as they are now. The only thing that limits the cost of precursors (since that’s a typical example) is people’s ability to farm their faces off to spend the cash.
You’re pretty naive if you believe precursor prices would drop by a lot with CoF receiving a nerf. If you can’t play the TP or spend money on gems in this game, you can probably hope for a precursor in several years or more.
Wow, way to imply I said something I something I didn’t. You misunderstand – I was not saying prices would drop much. Most of the damage has already been done in that respect due to ANet’s negligence in this area. This will not be fixed until this scavenger hunt or whatever that they may or may not even be working on yet.
I am saying prices would not be this high currently without so much income, which is completely obvious. Moving forward, I do think prices will depress a bit over time, but the specific situation with the precursor won’t be fixed until they do something there.
On-topic – it’s extremely bad to have only one easy area in a game that is profitable compared to all others.
Just to add, that bullcrap bug in AC P1 when u destroy one of burrows, it still teleports you through the door and u cant do anything. This bug is so old that I think u have enough knowledge to fix it in 7 months. P.S: do something about precursors, rng is bad.

You said it well ! Let’s be constructive here but at the same time we need to be firm to developers else they just take advantage. I see this all of a dejavu all over again. Which got me to quit all games from Blizzturd/Activision – or any of their related produce/venture.
Ask for feedback and always do the opposite or they just keep quiet.
Please take note Anet testers on dungeon, when you guys test out the dungeon please also consider our conditions, that we will be only communicating with chat combined with thousands of kilometres apart and do not know each other’s configuration/play style.
Everyone knows the dungeon is seriously unbalanced.
I will remain my firm stand on NOT SPENDING A SINGLE PENNY/DOLLAR on anything related to Arene.net Guild Wars 2, until ANET fixed the kitten dungeon.
GW2 experience gets really frustrating when you reach Lv80 and start to explore dungeons. It’s like you guys designing the dungeons are from SPAM MAIL / POP-UP Advertisement backgrounds ! It’s all built on annoyances !
Have you heard the saying – Customers are always right. If you still want to grow your market share ?
Some players are still frustrated over others on CoF, coz they can’t even do that !
End-game is seriously BAD to the Bone. The Super Adventure Box is a cheap get-away pass for skins. OMG ! It would be better off if your resources is spent on fixing EXISTING PROBLEMS !
I hope Arena.net will act / plan carefully from now on. Else it will be like Blizzturd always going against their fans and customers.
Everyone should stop spending your “Real-Money”. ! Until Arenanet has fix and balance the dungeon mechanics. AND PLEASE don’t put stupid new stuff like the ghostbusters lift and pull in Ac P2.
Not matter how much you spend for your legendary, it’s the same item, with only silly cosmetics. Even with that, best you can do is use it in WvW show off the legendary animations. I find it silly as it does not improve game experience with the effort / time put in.
ps. At least the Anet game director is not kitteny like Blizzard’s game directors. But too soon to tell. My first experience/game with Arena-net.

We, get it. You are not getting enough gold for your bow to shoot unicorn, sword that glows, etc. It’s just animation. Does not improve game play.
The topic here is ARENA is not fixing old problems-bugs, balancing dungeons, but instead they are introducing silly new content changes and adding cheap content to pacify people with skins – Super Adventure Box.

I have more than enough gold for those things, thank you very much.
The topic of this post is “Dungeon Patch Discussion: 3/26”. Please tell me what leap of logic leads you to state that “balancing dungeons” IS part of this topic, but discussing one that is far too easy and profitable is not.
If anyone is having trouble getting their rainbow-shooting weapons, it’s the crowd that can’t do it without CoF. All I want to see is some relation between content difficulty and reward. I get that it will never be perfect, but the current situation is too far off.
