Dungeons changes/bugs on March 31
I have something to clarify about Lupicus’s bubble in phase 3 missing.
It seems to only miss if you get bubbled while in melee range. If you range him from a distance, then when he places bubble it will be accurately surrounding you.
Also it seems kind of strange but if you’re ever doing Lupicus with a mesmer, he seems to bubble their swordsmen accurately without any issues.
I don’t want to rely on the OP to constantly update his post, so I am keeping track of these bugs separately. Please keep reporting unique issues and I will collate them all together and report them directly to the developers. The following is my list so far.
- [All] The game seems to not be rewarding all dungeon chests or end of path reward chests, even if you haven’t done dungeons in many days.
- [CoF p1] Ferrah cannot continue after the Slave Driver event, breaking the path (we somehow managed to unbug her but not sure how).
- [HoTW p1] Aldus Stormbringer’s adds don’t all turn hostile now, they run around as friendlies and occasionally turn hostile. They also dodge around.
- [Arah] Lupicus’s Necrid Bolt auto-attack hits in melee range.
- [Arah] There seems to be a strange pathfinding bug whereby mobs are teleporting into Giganticus Lupicus’s arena. See this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVP9_6r98SM
- [Arah] Lupicus is failing to track his targets like he used to when using skills, causing skills like his Necrid Trap (Bubble) and Shadow Step to miss their targets by wide margins.
- [Arah p4] The Grenth event never finishes when the last wraith is killed.
- [CoE p2] The Husk event never finishes.
- [Fractals – Thaumanova] The eastern event where you have to break open the doors to save the Asuran engineers is broken insofar as the door to the collider is open even if you never save any of the engineers.
If there is something dungeon/fractal related that is broken as a result of this patch, especially blocking bugs, please post in this thread to let me know.
Would it be too much to ask if you could post up a new thread every week (2weeks?) of bullet-pointed issues you send to the devs, along with updates to all, if any, responses to said issues? Just label all threads consistently so they are easy to search for.
It would be nice to see how much effective “communication” we get all in one spot to sort out to look over.
I reported the aforementioned list to ANet earlier this week. So far already the CoF p1 and Arah p4 issues have been resolved. A few weeks back I reported the turret bug in Thaumanova Fractal, which is now fixed, and they also fixed the Fear issue not counting as an interrupt which I snuck into one of reports when it first happened. Additionally, they addressed the cone/line beam AOE radius issue that happened two patches back and I immediately reported.
Suffice it to say that as things happen and I hear more, I let the community know immediately. Additionally, I make it a point to follow threads like this to report issues ASAP so that the dev team can address them. I think it’s easier for me to report back progress to you all, the community, within the threads where the issues are reported rather than in an entirely new thread. It’s also better for ANet because fewer threads means I can direct them to read certain ones and they can browse easier. If I were actually able to physically moderate this specific forum it’d probably make my job easier and make communication easier because I could handle stickies and stuff, but I don’t foresee that ever happening.
Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully you approve of my work thus far.
