End Story Fight Eyes of Zhaitan healing
I had the same problem last night when I tried to run it. The eyes would fully heal and it wouldn’t ever let us attack Zhaitan. Spent like 30 silver in repair bills too…
I just had this same problem tonight. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or a DPS check. Maybe they reset if not killed fast enough? We had someone dc and only had four by the time we got to the second ship.
I ended up having to deal with these eyes of zhaitan almost entirely myself when I did Arah story mode, a little bit of experimenting will get you past them without too much effort.
When they get reduced below 50% health, they use a skill that heals them for essentially 50% of their max hp. The cooldown isn’t particularly long, but it does have a noticeable windup. I can’t tell you what it looks like because I did this weeks and weeks ago and never looked back, but pay attention for the windup and CC them. When I was doing it (killing them solo as a glass-cannon Necromancer) they would try and cast it again at about 25% health if I interupted the first heal successfully.
If you’re group is capable of any coordination at all, just focus the eyes down one at a time, CC them at the right times, and apply enough AoE to deal with the mobs they summon. Like I said, I essentially killed these by myself, I ended up killing the first two while my other three party members flailed around aimlessly at the other random mobs, and after our fifth had dropped.
PS I am attempting to recall this from memory entirely, so I might be wrong on the exact amounts of HP the Eyes healed from. Regardless, pay attention and you can CC them out of the heal really easily.
