Guild Wars 2

I ran fractals twice yesterday and hit this gem of a guy twice. It seems the encounter is harder.

You now can not apply conditions to him while he is balled up.

Also there seem to be more lava snakes (forgot real name) that spawn and they seem to have higher rates of fire, though that could just be their numbers.

Anybody else encounter this?

Nope. I did a 20’s and a 10’s. Both seemed harder. Though I could just be noticing something that is not there.

I think it would have been in the patch notes if they buffed the Shaman boss.

They didn’t seem to really do anything directly related to fractals with this update, though.

Also, with all the kittening about this boss, if anything I think they’d nerf it.

Food was nerfed, maybe you were relying on it and didnt realize you were healing for less rather than getting hit for more.

I’ve noticed that AOE doesn’t reduce stacks of his shield anymore (or at least Whirling Wrath didn’t).

I’ve also noticed him casting multiple Dives simultaneously after his shield breaks. I recently had him Dive 4 times on me in a single second.
