I am a male Charr engineer and when I wear my Citadel of Flame chest piece i can’t see my shoulder armor.

Try pressing H and then ticking the little box that shows on your armour piece. It should then show it

If that doesn’t work I’m not sure might be a bug (report in game bugs section of the forums I assume).

I thought the point of the female charr is that they aren’t that distinguishably different from the male charr?

Yea i tried to press the button to show and not many times didn’t work.

What if you transmute?

Yeah, that’s the reason I didn’t get the chest from that set. One, it doesn’t even look good, two, you don’t get to see the shoulders (which, in my opinion, is the best part of the armor).

Try , naked, to wear the armor with a different order (leg then chest then helm etc and mix up). Could be a bug similar to the arah light armor one with sylvari (didn’t check if every race had this bug), where wearing the armor on particular order (helm then shoulder then chest) would overwrite the helm skull texture, showing the chest texture as hat, completely covering the head. Seems fixed for arah armor, but maybe is not for this armor and this class.

The diffident order didn’t work.

Why did they do that.
