Recently there has been a rise in LFG abuse related to scamming peoples already finished solo’d Arah paths and the ONLY solution, since the scammers aren’t getting dealt with, is to invite spotholders to your party. A “spotholder” is someone who takes up space in your party in order for there to be no room for the scammers to join and kick you. You invite 3 people to your party, and now there is 4/5 people in your party and you let buyers in 1 by 1. This way 2 people can’t merge parties and kick you from your instance. MY idea was that we create a guild and Arah path sellers/volunteers can join and spothold for path solo-ers. This eliminates the scamming that has been going on, and anyone that has been confirmed scamming that is in the guild gets kicked.

People already tried this idea. It flopped.

Just use fillers from your guild and/or friends list. Random followers you don’t really know or ever play with if you’re desperate.

Even if one gets in, they scam once and they’re out of the guild forever.

In any case, I support the return of gw2lfg. It’s the only way you can sell solo and safely. Of course, it’s going to take some work to bring the site back into the minds of buyers.

You could always just offer it to your friends for the dungeon reward money. It’s less profit, but way safer.

Actually we have a sellers guild up and running with 90 members strong. Been active since the last patch that removed party leaders. Basically a glorified list of fillers. No reping is required. If you’re on EU, look us up we be more than willing to have you join. Sidenote: if you look a few pages back, I give all the guild details on a thread. But at work atm and dont have the time to look it up. Hope this helps.
