Kicking on the last fractal
Never happened to me, but there’s absolutely no reason to kick anyone at the end of a dungeon, right before the reward. Anyone who does so deserves a permanent ban.
pro tip don’t play with guild groups unless its yours. Looks at guild tags and if you see 3+ ppl from same guild find another group
No. Not all guild groups kick.

Anyone who does this also misses out on awesome guild groups looking for +1 that clear L48 in as quick a time as possible with zero wipes. I know my guild does this, and we certainly don’t kick at the end.
People just kick me, when they see my class after the accepting the group request. That said, I’ve never been kicked during the run in all those fractals.

Very true. I pug multiple times every single day because my guild is small and they don’t like dungeons as much as I. I’ve played with many guild groups and I often like them more. They’re generally more organized and have a little more fun.
At this point I’ve pugged hundreds of dungeons and I’ve never been kicked. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen. I’m saying it is rare. You can minimize your chances of being kicked by being skillful, fast and most of all – not being an a**. Meaning, don’t rage if people mess up, don’t constantly boss people around. The people I see on this board that say they’ve been kicked lots of times always sound like they’re jerks in dungeons.
Sure, there are jerks out there that will kick you for nothing or to sell a spot. But it’s rare enough to not base your decisions in it.

Well, at least they didn’t waste your time.
I have kicked two people on the last fractals
1) In short, this person was incredibly rude and lied about AR. We were doing 20+ and he was instantly dying on agony attack. We noticed on 3rd round but was blatantly obvious in Maw. In addition, when I asked for clarification on something he was saying (he was wrong) he called me an idiot and told me to get an education. My 4 guild group kicked him, but I took SS of him saying he had 0 AR (even though he said 15 at the beginning)
2) 3 person guild group, plus 2 PUGs. One person had a disagreement with guildie in the 3rd round. They argued for a bit but nothing serious. It escalated into the PUG calling all of us stupid kitten and verbally abusing us. I reported and kicked him, then ask the other PUG if he would like to invite a guildie to make it look like it wasn’t a kick so we could bring somebody else in.
TL;DR, some people deserve to be kicked and some people don’t. Take what people say w/ a grain a salt.

pro tip, don’t be a jerk or suck. Talk, communicate, be nice and they won’t kick you.

I don’t agree with you 100% especially in the first case. Your group made it to maw with that person with 0AR, why start the arguement that would never go well from there? If that person get downed, just leave him there. He made it or not, just all grab the chest and block him later. I don’t see a necessity to kick people unless it’s really blocking the progress.
Pro tip from me: never argue with guild group. No matter your arguement is right or wrong, you’re always in disadvantage, either in vote kicking, or just verbally.
Yea i agree we the post above, I dont mind what people do Maw. its so easy, if one needs to leech it I never mind, let alone dies only twice on the agony part. worst case you wipe and it doesnt reset. This isnt the main point though, sounds like if he was nicer you wouldnt of kicked.

No. Not all guild groups kick.
no, not all but there’s a higher chance of a guild GROUP kicking you to replace you by their guildy than a pug group full of randoms
That’s the downside of running with pugs that are actually a guild or friends-list run. Apparently there is nothing we can do about it. I’m sure you’re not the first one to experience this.
I was kicked out of fractals once when one of their buddies killed the “targeted” chanter at the Giant fractal stage and blamed me. Well, you know where i went… back to LA. Pretty unfair if you ask me, but it reminds you to not get too attached to GW2. It’ll stress you a lot if you take it too seriously.
Last day of Flame and Frost in the FM dungeon with a 5-man guild party and I get kicked because the party leader is frustrated… seriously…
I got kicked twice.. one at level 22 and once at level 8 LOL
Both times my reward level was 49 and i was just doing dailies.. The Level 22 was at MAW Guild Grifted! no reason at all 45AR over 500 runs!. the the level 8 i was helping out a group .. level 8 They kicked me at the 3rd Frac.. SWAMP! .. looks like they kicked me to help someone level up kinda sux i still wanted the chest loot and MAW chest.

I’d love it they had some kinda system in place that prevented that player from not getting any credit but that would also effect the much more vast number of people giving up and having to find a replacement.
I’ve personally kicked several ppl many times from Dungeon/fractals but always it has been for the same more than valid reasons: afk, uncompetence, deafness (e.g You ask somebody to do the “x thing” repeteadly and that person still keeps doing “y thing” over and over), cluelessness, big mouth/bad attitudes towards other members of the fellowship.
Never ever joked about intending it to be ’’funny" but some ppl, just give for granted they can do a tot amount of things, and that those will have no consequences when instead they do have, so yeah: You reap what you sow.

100% agree.
i kicked some person in lvl 40+ fractal but:
-they went afk for something like 20+ minutes without saying anything.
why should i carry them? i am not santa claus.
-they were totally unable to play proper they’re class, guardian with no reflect wall with no sanctuary\avenger at lava boss keeping dieng more and more even on trash.
why should i carry them? i am not santa claus.
-they had something like 30 ar. ofc, if you dodge ar doesn’t matter, but they were not dodging at all.
why should i carry them? i am not santa claus.
-they were totally not speaking, not intending, not collaborating. maw lvl 40/50 need a bit a collaboration even between pugs so not speaking guys keeping start inc with no clue when party not ready are a bit boring.
why should i carry them? i am not santa claus.
and so on.
that’s a game, you can’t expect to be carryed if you aren’t doing nothing or if you are keeping doing on your own without listening what your mates are asking.
when you are kicked instead QQ try to think about what you have done xD

I completely agree that kicking someone out for the sole purpose of getting your guild mate in for an easy dungeon reward or “for fun” is wrong.
However i’ve kicked people out of my party before and usually i wait till the end of the dungeon before they get their reward. My reason why? Because they were rude, did not help the team/were incompetent, acted as if they alone knew the answers to everything and refused to apologize or make amends.
Starting a flame war isn’t going to solve anything, especially if they’re unreasonable and just repeat the same insult over and over again. They had all the time between starting the argument/being rude till the end of the dungeon to apologize or make amends.
They chose not to, so i see no reason why i should show them respect and allow them to get their rewards. They wasted my time by listening to their insults and lengthened the time it took to finish the dungeon. So i choose to waste their time by making them get 0 reward.
I don’t agree with needless party kicking, but there are many people out there that deserved to be kicked. I also let them know it was me that kicked them. I either tell them before hand if i kick them mid dungeon or i whisper them if it was right before chest.
This party booting system can be good or bad, it just depends on the people using it
We don’t PUG often but when we needs some, regardless of their competency, we kicked no one even sometimes it takes longer to finish fractals. And, no, we are not Santa Claus neither.
One thing I keep noticing that most people always overestimate their skills. They think they are awesome but when a weakest link shown up, or maybe 2, the whole thing falls apart. But excuses always make people feeling better, right?
Fractals are considered a training ground for some of us to level up to 48 with my friends and couple of them are very skilled players. The leveling players are mostly way under level, under AR and inexperienced for the level they’re playing but if we can assemble a party w/o PUG (1 alt skilled player, 4 levelings), we are doing just fine. When we PUG, that ‘s when we start seeing how good we are because there is no way you can’t foretell the quality of the players you’re going to get. I was appalled at quite a few of incompetent players at 38 fractals, with awesome AR and awesome levels. They are so bad relative to some of our 20s leveling players but that incompetency isn’t a big problem for us. My friend can always swap to their main and we can finish the fractals. However, the most irritating issue is about those spent time most on the floor within a couple minutes at the grawl shaman loved to give the directions of what we should do. On the floor, repetetively. Actually we spent more time to rez these clowns than fighting the shaman. But we still never kick those clowns. The yardstick is if we can finish the fractal w/ those clowns on the floor, we have improved. Even with the weakest links introduced.
Different strokes for different folks, so here another perspective why we don’t kick anyone. They stick w/ us, we keep them. Oh, they can kick themselves if they wanted to. And a sigh of relief from 3 of us if they do quit, because then we might have some of our people available. If not, the odd to get another 2 clowns within the same period is pretty slim at 38, right?
