I was about to post this in the general discussion thread because the wardrobe came up there, but I decided it might be more fitting here.

How do you feel about the wardrobe? While I think it is an incredibly nice feature, there is a sore point about it for me.

Because honestly, the wardrobe makes me feel sorry for Lilith and everyone who bought multiple copies of skins for a large amount of gold and gems. With the new system, that is an incredible loss of recources.
I have multiple copies of gemshop skins and other expensive skins like C3 like I guess most of us here. but I’m fairly certain I’m at the bottom of the “multiple skins” leaderboard. So I’m not that much annoyed by it speaking for myself alone. But I do feel sorry for others.

Only thing i have doubled up on is the trickster set and corrupted daggers. So im relatively lucky in that regard. I do have a lot of expensive skins which i will most likely share across characters now. So for me im very happy.

I understand some people may feel like they wasted a lot of gold but i think they will be happy overall.

I am honestly ecstatic about it. And there isn’t a bone in me that is going to desire to request refunds on duplicates.

Here’s why:

I have 16 characters. Eventually, I’ll have the full 64. I have almost every gem store skin in the game, and multiples of certain ones, and multiples of several gem store weapon skins and several several black lion weapon skins.

Now, I have 4 lovestruck pistols, 2 fused daggers. I also have 3 Kasmeer staves, 2 Marjory axes, and 4 Marjory daggers.

What I’m getting in return is fused greatsword, rifle, longbow, lovestruck sword, zodiac scepter, immobulus, anomaly, bifrost, dreamer, lovestruck greatsword, fractal pistol, fractal axe, fractal speargun, fractal rifle, every backpiece I’ve ever gotten, and more. I can’t even count the numbers of armor skins I’ll never have to buy again. All of these things, together, when I coordinate my next 40 characters, will be at a flat rate for optimal customization. I can do whatever I want to make my characters shine. This is so important to me.

I can hardly contain my excitement. I have spent 3k+ in the gem store, and this is the sort thing I shelled out money for. I wanted them to be working on this. And they did. And I’m happy. And in the next year, I’ll spend just as much to get every single skin I can in my wardrobe.

Oh well then, no need to feel sorry I guess. At least on your behalf.

Happy is always better anyway.

Youll have all of your dyes. Youll have all of your legendaries. Youll have all of your armors.

UNLOCKED FOR USE ON ALL OF YOUR CHARACTERS

….with the flat rate of, what looks like, 1 charge per transmute ^^

And dyes are free. So all dyes on all characters that you have unlocked.

This is a fantastic news. Now I can focus on making more and more legendary to unlock the skins across all my characters. I’m loving this change.

I’m sorry about your sword, but when I think about how much I’m going to save by not having to, say, buy 2 daggers of x skin I feel a lot better about it.

Oh so, you have to account bind or soul bind skins or items to get them unlocked on your account, so you can’t just have the skin and sell it. At least, that’s how they described the system.

Iris, speculation wise, isn’t unid dyes a good plan ?

That seems obvious to me… it would feel exploitish to just buy a skin and then resell it and it also doesn’t make any sense….

Nah, they won’t. Look at the juggy’s recipe. Silver doubloons are so rare that unid dyes could be more common even without dropping.
To be frank, it would be fair to lower the recipe to 100 or even 50 dyes, but I know they won’t.
Hey, I’ll need your help with my warrior. Can I stretch it so that I can put Sunrise on her? It will need a lot of work and a complete change in her rugged look. I don’t even know if it’s possible….

Got no money for that my dear :/ And since i’m at work I can’t make money off of this update :/

@ Sam: I was slow, all the dyes are sold for at least 25-30 s per piece.

Mmh, cooking mats to make dyes Iris, now. Sell yours/harvest for profits. The price will drop in the next days, but this patch opens up some good ideas for things to buy.

On a dungeon related note, I’m gonna make my other characters look good now :>
