Lupicus using grub skill on necro minions
I tested this about 3 hours ago on my mesmer. I didn’t have any grubs spawn on any of my clones of phantasms.
Based on few runs on transition grub spawns on closest target.

This is correct. Now that I think about it, Lupricus did have one stack of the grub buff on him and my group wasn’t sure where it came from since we were busy spreading out and no grubs spawned on any of us. So I guess during that transition from phase 1 to 2 one spawned on my cloned.
Needs another fix asap.
The moletariat mining suit (boss at the end of the moletariat fractal) fires extra bombs (one for each minion) and extra on the player if minions are out.

Can you please actually fix this, nothing like having your party frantically look for the last grub at the P2 transition to have it spawn right behind lupi

Let 1 person come near him to get infected, he infects the nearest player/npc/minion/pet/illusion.
KratosAngelBesides, what about the Jade ? Would it be possible to have it stop targetting pets/clones/minions ?
A very good compromise was found on other thread. It consisted of having it target “allies” (let’s call them this way) until lv 10, and starting from lv 10, when you get more experienced, it stops targetting “allies” and requires more skill to dodge/invuln etc … when you have no crystal.

I’d like to ask that if anyone finds a monster/boss whose mechanics unfairly target pets and minions, to please post about it here in this thread, and I will try to look into them to see what can be done.
General Molradovich in Sorrow’s Embrace P3. He casts rings of fire on pets / minions / clones, and there is no way for players to tell those minions to jump on the water and put out the fire, so the pets effectively set fire to other players.
Reposting this because it’s still very true. It’s not just the setting minions on fire directly: it’s that they catch and spread the wildfire, ‘infecting’ cripplingly large areas.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
Robert,
Sorry to say, sparks on Dwayna still aggro pets, especially pets invoked through rune invocation. And if such a pet pops, you can be sure to have to reset dwayna. A pain in the kitten img src="/include/images/smilies/smile.png" />
Regards,
Come to think of it, did we ever get confirmation that this fix made it in? It wasn’t in the patch notes.
I haven’t seen it to target clones etc. with infection. However, it may target them during phase 2 transition.
This is what I’m observing. Its only happened a couple times so far but as Lup progresses to phase 2 he will sometimes spawn a grub on one of my clones/illusions. And gulp Lup has a happy meal. So I try to shatter once he goes invulnerable. Its just a small thing and completely manageable. Other than that illusions seem good in this fight.
