Me being bad or just elitism?
Can’t let standards slide. If we tolerate the knights players too much, what happens then? We let the valks in? Before long we have fear spam minion master necros and cleric guardians running around with their staffs healing and supporting the bearbow trap ranger.
This is tongue in cheek, right?
just elitism.

I just had this happen to me, which I posted in a different thread
I suggest that others post similar posts, so a-net gets the idea that something needs to change here as the party kicking system is just abusive
It happens again today, in Ascalon Catacombs. The party is running a record time dungeon run, nothing is wrong. Then the instance owners says: “I hate NPCs” because Hodgins bugs up and won’t open the door for the 2nd scepter in P1. I then make a joke and say “Ever feel like the people you work with are NPCs?” He kicks me out of the party.
I reported him in-game but it did not ask me for screen shots so I thought I’d post them here. Is there a more appropriate place for a thorough report?
This player’s account is: allpowerfullone.8462
Seriously, the GMs need to read how abusive this is as it is a perfect example of what is wrong with the party kicking system. He prompts a kick and then someone seconds it for no reason and pay attention to how disrespectful this player is. More proof that it is more often the kicker, that should be kicked. Not the kickee.
Can I get some kitten justice on this for once? Or is a-net ok with this type of behavior?
Look how confident this guy is that arena-net will not do anything to him.
If you’ve already reported him, then don’t send another report. That just clogs up Support’s queues.
At the very least, that player is guilty of in-game verbal abuse and deserving of a 72 hour suspension.
I find this is more effective than using the elites which take up skill slots.
If I may ask, what do you use for skill #0 instead of an elite skill? O.o
I use the elite that replaces your weapon skills with healing spells. I don’t even remember its name.
I’m about 95% sure he’s joking.
I can’t remember the last time I ever used an elite skill on my Guardian. I just spam skill 1,2,4 and 5 of greatsword while activating the first virtue whenever it is up for the burning and use shouts, reflect and the other virtues to help the team when needed. I find this is more effective than using the elites which take up skill slots. In fact I was thinking of buying the Deluxe upgrade option from the Gem store just so I could use the Wolf summon elite for extra dps on my guardian.
Quoted for satire.
Nope, not joking at all. It’s how I play
@Sundar: do you never run high level fractals? If yes then you are doing it wrong. In fractals (especially mossman, archdiviner ect.) you should be aegis tanking the strong bosses, keeping them on you for as long as possible while your team is dealing damage (since there is no aggro mechanic it’s not really tanking, but having full ascended armor really helps for some reason). And your elite serves just that reason. An invul in place of an aegis that is on cooldown and aegis/VoR refresh for condi cleansing (another important aspect of it). Guardians shouldn’t use those skills just for themselves.
I’m neither high enough in fractal level nor do I have the AR do do 30+ fractals. Perhaps someday I’ll get to do them.

That sucks man. But honestly, he’s probably right, these things usually go unhandled. There’s a well known player who is so full of Heit that he just merge-kills Arah seller parties. Countless reports over weeks (months now?) and nothing has happened.
And as far as making more posts about it, take a minute to read through the post titles in this forum. This get brought up pretty much every day. It’s pretty clear that Anet doesn’t give a flying puppy about it.
All is vain.
For me, if the party is moving along fine, then I dont care what skills you use. So sure use the hounds go all out and have fun.
From what the OP was stating, it looks like the party was killing things just fine and they were not having any issue. so if it was me, I would be right with the OP lets have some fun and bring out the more summons.
I know me personally on my ele I normally run summon elemental, as I like the tanking power for the earth elemental and the damage that the fire elemental can help me with. But if I know the party wants more DPS I will drop the fiery dragon sword so we can get more dps going around.
