Really confused by the fight last night. Not damaged by anything but I got agony just from hitting firestorm. Berserker was on the other side of the platform and I didn’t step on any aoe.

I believe the berserker’s wave do some agony but I’m not entirely sure.

Also, the gear check only happens at start & when one boss die right?

Yeah it took us an hour to do a level 24 molten facility. I don’t know if it’s intended but some players were instantly getting 4 stacks of agony while some weren’t taking damage at all from the agony. We all had 25+ AR…some group members had 40 and were still dying to agony. The aoe was hard to avoid. On your screen it would look like you were outside the aoe but still get hit by it. Half the time when we respawned to retry from checkpoint it would instantly spawn us in the middle of the fight with immediate agony stacks while our screens were loading. Was definitely e-raging by the end haha.

Did it on lvl 10 last night.

We got hit right at the beginning for sure with a few stacks as we walked into the room.

Also, the wave for sure hits with agony, you need to jump over it.

Anything else, I am not entirely sure.

Waves do agony, fire does agony, beginn of the fight. And i think a phase switch/berserk mode too sometimes.

Nearly all agony can be avoided.

Maybe you were too close to the edge? Currently there’s a small section of the outer rim of the arena closest to the entrance that is ‘bugged’. If you enter this section along the very outer rim and then move back inward, the game treats you as having just entered the fight and you get hit with the standard 9 ticks of ‘maw’ agony. The same agony that hits you when you enter the fight at the very start.

It’s very easy to lose track of where you are, accidentally run into this section and run out if you’re hugging the edge, and find yourself getting hit with the entrance agony.
