I don’t understand, why would you need to neutralize Alphard? Found it rather easy to solo on all my characters(save necro, was rather hard without proper AoE) in melee. Just kiting around boxes while meleeing till she goes to the middle to spin, then keep whacking and frig off once the clones appear.

It was just a discussion about reflections, guang made the stupid claim that one mesmer neutralizes half of all arah bosses where in fact a mesmer doesn’t reliable neutralize even one out of 18 (19 with grenth).

There are a very few fights in this game where reflection is overpowered, that isn’t the norm though. Lupicus is one of those fights, alphard or abomination or any other arah boss are none.

Mesmer with roses does, though.
