Poll: Dredge Fractal
No, I quite like it because of the loots. If I had one reason to hate it, it’d be because of the huge amount of whining there is in chat every time a group ends up in that fractal.

1st part is all about glitchs
for the rest is too long and annoying for lot of reasons discussed from months (champion daze, dredge HP and armor etc etc making the fractal eternal and boring).
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

oh btw is the most hated fractal for me. too long too many stuff, and a lot of glitch. the infinite re spawn of trash made this fractal just stupid.
this should be:
trash>clean>move.
and no, trash>clean>clean>clean>clean>wipe>trash>clean>clean>boss>repeat.

I’m actually entirely sure that anybody who voted ‘no’ is being contrarian and as such isn’t entitled to input.
EVERYONE hates the dredge fractal because it is awful, and if by chance you don’t feel extreme animosity towards it, it’s because you run with a guild consistently, and most likely glitch through it every time.
I hate to say it, but if the dredge fractal was released as an instance in WoW at any point, it flat out wouldn’t have been tolerated.
Anyone who would argue that it takes skill and/or tactics to get through the fractal, may you suffer an eternity of dredge grunting.

Just reduce the spawn by half then I’ll be happy.
You should add a qualifier in your poll for 4 tiers of FoTM. That should give you a better view of the poll.
The dredge fractal always feels like genocide: so many trash mobs. Every time I hear “The signal … please…” during the loading screen my first thought is “No No No!”.

That’s the fractal in which it becomes all too obvious, that fractals don’t really get “harder”. Just more mobs with more hp. And when you think that no more dredge fit into that room, you get it on a higher level – and oh boy! even more fit inside…
The problem with dredge fractal is that there’s way too many dredge and way too few groups that actually know how to practice common sense instead of just trying to blindly barrel through everything like they do in dungeons. That’s not to say that the fractal itself doesn’t have any problems, as even with the required amount of coordination it’s kind of a hassle to run through.
For example, the respawning dredge that come up in a couple sections have way too much health considering the fact that they’re supposed to be mass killed. This is also a player problem because no one seems to know how to do AoEs; again, stupid people trying to barrel through everything blindly. If they could at least lower the health of the dredge that respawn to make them a bit easier to take care of, it would at least make killing them a less monotonous task, and would make the bomb part less tasking and not require people to die in order to progress. Of course, you’d still have to remind people to use their kitten AoEs, but, again, that’s a human thing and not a gameplay thing.
To answer the OP question, though, I say I’m neutral about it. The only fractal I really hate is swamp, simply because it’s a good indicator of which people in your group are mentally challenged.

if cliffside, dredge were completely REMOVED from fotm and shaman level made on equal difficulty to other fractals i think i’d be spamming fractals much more than im now (0-2 dailes a day).

That would be Shaman. Pugs who barrel through everything get through dredge easily.

its like night impossible on 40+ its simply the worst fractal ever
I had groups we rerolled the whole fractal cycle on 40+ even if dredge was our 3rd because its so stupid. We were faster doing 1+2 again instead of doing dredge.
Please simply nuke it from orbit.

Yeah, very likely.
Dredge fractal is just tooooo kitten long. Especially with the mobs spawning out of the tank at Rabsovich – just the time taken up by their invuln frames and spawning animations above 30 is about 5min. Also, this fractal has 4 encounters (switch part, gates part, rabsovich part, final boss part).
NONE of the other fractals have so many fights, not even mentioning they have the toughest mobs as well as blind immunity, which screws my thief’s defensive options other than stealth cheesing everything.
And then the best part, the invisible objects (around the tank and gates/spawnpoints) that you hit with AOE and which keep you in combat all the time, while effectively nerfing AOE by taking up 1-2 targets out of the maximum 5.
If they nerfed the length, I’d be fine with it, the encounters aren’t bad alone with their bugs fixed, only all of them together in a single fractal is what’s awful. It’s not the hardest fractal, lava is a lot more annoying for me, I’d take dredge anytime over it (unless we have 2 guardians and a mesmer ofc).

It’s pretty awful. There’s nothing clever about overwhelming players with a ludicrous amount of dredge, all of whom are immune to blind. It has some okay tactical bits like the first room with the switch and the final boss but other than that it’s terrible regardless of the “loot.”
Seems many players didn t understand what changed….
-fixed the ress exploit….
-dredge stays in aggro more now
-in right path (bomb) dredge spawns since the entrance and there are more of them, requiring you to clean every door run (i.e. more dredge)
-champion minions can no more be lured out of the room
-champion attack is now treated like trebouchet and cannot be stop by skills….
-when you plant/pick a bomb you lose stealth
As effect it became harder for pugs and more frustrating at 20-28 while promoting even more the use of guardian and warriors, and now if you know why even mesmer!
Now 2 guardians are mandatory at higher levels
Every patch makes the same issues worst rather fixing them
