At this point I’d be happy with a mini. So far I get some gold and exotics that are worth 80 silvers on TP. I know my RNG isn’t the best but after clearing the Spirit Vale in an hour I want at least something…
I’ve had 1 mini, the armor precursor items, and the Greatsword drop from Vale. The Greatsword was a good drop but even if it never drops you can buy from the vendor. The system has a failsafe built in that I appreciate, it removes the possibility of getting nothing. I’ve raided for a long time in many games and still think about the drops I didn’t get in games I’ve long since quit. This system seems very fair. It might take quite a few runs to get enough marks, but everything is attainable.
The one gripe I have about the raid loot (and its a big one) is that masterwork level gear drops in raids. Are you kidding me Anet? This is endgame you do not populate the loot table with fluff. At minimum every drop in raids should be exotic, and ascended should mats and gear should be common drops.
I like the system, it’s been good to me so far, but junk drops shouldn’t ever be in raids. Masterwork is for open world, not endgame.

I find that to be an incredibly stupid and telling idea myself, but it also works in the opposite direction like in this case. Better than nothing.^^
Pretty much the least desirable ascended armor for me. Next best drop was a 4g exotic.
Yet another guy with the same number of wins has seen 4 or 5 or more ascendeds, including one of the new weapon skins.
At least I’ve earned tokens towards something but still… meh.
So overall rewards have been disappointing. I’ve gotten more out of Fractals in a couple weeks than from raiding over… what? nearly two months now? (And for less time invested considering all the time spent failing, practicing, and even simply waiting in the raid.)
I’m glad that tokens are there to substitute for our terrible luck but at the same time since I can token cap by wiping on VG every week (I don’t but I can) it just doesn’t feel as satisfying as getting the actual lewtz from drop @ boss.
