Small things that bug you in (PUG) dungeons
I just had a pug without any eles try to LOS-stack on Shoggroth.
I guess that’s the other side of the “I won’t stack cause it breaks my immersion” spectrum, the “stack every boss even when there’s no point” guys.

Where’s the problem in stacking Shoggi without an ele? We do that often, works just as well. With enough immobilize it just keeps him from going back underground fast, giving you a bit of space when the immo runs out for whatever reason and you have that one sec cd on it.
Doesn’t help if your pugs were only spamming 1 though.

There’s no problem in it, there’s no point either though unless you’re planning to FGS him. Best case you manage to get enough extra DPS to make up for the time spent running to spouts and then LOSing, worst case his fire spit wipes you because you’re all stacking like dorks on a wall on a boss who literally can’t hurt you other than by spawning super weak adds that you can just reflect to death.

Oh I agree, I think he was just being a kitten, and felt that he needed to have the best possible group in order to do it perfectly. But for future runs, I won’t be bringing him along :P

love it – I’m doing condi Lupicus recordings, get a kill, ask for people on lfg to do the rest for me (way too lazy to solo alphard, brie and sell on top of that, uguuuuuu) – so I lfg a group and nobody runs to the alphard wp despite me asking. then one guy does it. one guy leaves for some reason and then some dude asks if we can sell the 5th slot.
no good sir, I am not selling a 5th slot and sharing gold with three leechers, if I wanted to sell I would have soloed. “every little counts” he says. no, idgaf about getting 2g, and if you put that lfg up for a sell I will literally kill the instance.

Yeah pretty much. More gold = more shinies = more people will look at me = low self esteem = daddy issues = no body loves me. Thus more gold == people will love me.
The sad part is this translates exactly the same in RL. Which is why the current generation of stupid people is progessivly getting stupider and why western culture sucks and a zombie apocalypse or major natural disaster is what we need so we can wake up and stop being so petty and useless as human beings and perhaps be the men and women we were meant to be and take life by the horns and become something more than whiny little prats about stupid stuff that doesnt matter.
(Ok done ranting, just had to get that off my chest.)

you can LOS the baby tars so they die faster, and it’s further from the hole so there is more room for screwups when you want to immobilise the boss. also extra damage from WWA/
