Edit: Do you guys also do optional events? There’s an optional event I’ve done once in Arah P4 where you have to collect some gears and stuff to kill off some giants. I’d say you should add that in as well if you do optional stuff. Like fighting Kholer.

Edit 2: As far as the person who left your group, they are most likely used to the norm of dungeon runs which is to skip through things. I wouldn’t hold it against them, nor would I say that they aren’t playing the game how it should be played.

I think you’re on the right track by having a friends list of people who – like you – don’t want to skip or stack. You should make sure to always pull from this pool of people who share your common interest. In this way, you minimize the chance of inviting someone who expects to be skipping trash mobs etc.

This is also the wrong lesson to learn. Many of the people who are able to do lvl 50 fractals, or solo various bosses or even whole fractal levels stack and skip. And they are definitely some of the most skilled players ing GW2.

I find finishing dungeons quickly to be “fun,” and it is undeniably better gold-per-hour than wasting time in dungeons by not skipping/stacking. Who are you to tell me what is “fun?” I can tell you with 100% certainty that skipping, stacking, zerk gear, and meta builds will result in a faster run. But you cannot possibly tell me that slower runs are more fun for ME.

Since release? Good god, OP, that couldn’t get any more tragic unless it involved a drowning basket of puppies.

I don’t know of any guilds, but you can still find some like-minded folks in the LFG if you make a concentrated effort to find them.

Players who have ranger as their main usually really hate the stacking/skipping playstyle, some of then are really stubborn and dont stack for nothing. Once i pugged with that youtuber girl who used to make gw2 videos of jumping puzzles and stuff, she was on her ranger using her legendary longbow and nothing that we told convinced her to stack with us, but luckly she didnt pull any agro and didnt spam knockbacks.

i stack all the time .its just that this was a rare time when i got to see what it was like not stacking .now i will go out of my way to find people that don’t stack and it will probobly be a very long time before i do these guys i was with are hardly ever on

i’ll give you a +1 trunks for making the effort to find people who share your playstyle

Should we be making a list of these guilds in a sticky to refer people to when they come here to trash us?

i honestly didn’t start the thread to insult anyone. i was just saying my thoughts on the subject. and saying i was playing the way dungeons are meant to be played isn’t an insult its just a fact. just people found away to exploit the game

just wondering what is this bait you speak of?nothing wrong with saying how much fun i had doing a dungeon without stacking? and seeing if there are other guilds out there that do the same
