TA Aetherpath achievements
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Learning the pattern? It just moves in one direction, tetris-style, and changes for each platform. If your group are nice and let you go for the near platform, it should be fairly simple. You just need to wait until there’s a free bit going in the direction you want.

Grounded
You have to leave the entrance corridor, but stop before you stop on the electic part. There you can wait for a kind soul to portal you to a platform.
Above and Beyond
Duoable. 1 guy defend the lionguards, while you rush to kill the aetherbalde officer, then you accompany to caithe to the secret room, kill the broken clockwork there, then pick up grenades and throw them at the airships. You and your mate will finish with these about at the same time, and you’ll have like 5minutes left to open all hidden chests, which is more then enough if you know all locations.
Who is in charge here
Kill the north half of the army, then pull the boss to the northwest part, where you can easily use the environment against the boss. Pull it up on the perimeter, and jump down when it start spinning, so it will spin againt the edge of the higher ground. Easily soloable boss for the achievement this way. Just remember, the more ppl there is, the more red circles will spawn. Those “redcircles” are projectiles before they touch the ground so you can block them from spawning. (Swirling Winds, Wall of Reflection, Feedback, Shield of the Avenger rulz)
+ Foreman Spur has slow and obvious animations (just like clockheart), if you recognise those and act accordingly, then you won’t have any trouble.
He is shooting projectiles when he is like throwing stuff towards the sky. Or table flipping, whatever Feedback on that, and you block all red circles.
For Grounded, an Ele with Mist Form makes the achievement laughably easy. Just Mist Form to each platform in turn and then wait till it recharges before moving to the next. (NOTE: do NOT try to Mist Form diagonally. There is a chance you will be a split second too late and get zapped. Go along the edges of the square.) Takes a while, but there is 0 risk if done right.

In that case you should bring a focus as well for Obsidian Flesh to speed things up a bit.

Have I missed something then? I thought in order to get the achievement you had to kill him before killing any of the other Aetherblades in the room.
You definitely have to do more than simply defeat him without wiping because I’ve done that a few times.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
You have to leave alive at least 1 from each row. You can kill the rest before killing the boss.
The “without dying” condition doesnt seem to be working properly, people get the achievement even if they died during the boss fight or the team wiped.
