harder dungeons?
methinks the two arah paths you havent done are jotun and seer. Which would mean you’re missing out on the
1. tar fight which has 2-3 important fight mechanics, including using the enviroment
2. the korga fight which has an enviromental aid
3. the jotun fight which is one of the more unique and fun boss fights in this game (imo)
4. the grenth fight which was unique and pretty kitten cool when it came to teamwork
5. the simin fight which despite being buggy as all hell did have a neat mechanic (shame it didnt work very well)
Arah in general has some pretty cool boss fights outside of the warden path.
tar fight is just mindless fighting aslong as you have a guardian or ele that causes burning,
i didnt do the other jotum bosses, and did seers up to dwayna boss , and grenth wasnt that special just kill the ghosts( or whatever is was called) to kill the boss (which was just mindless killing with a bit of walking).
and thats arah, but not the other dungeons.
Yeh agree, pretty much everything apart from Arah is too easy.
What I think A-net should do is add a higher difficulty level than explorable mode and make it have unique rewards to make up for the risk. Guild Wars 1 Fissure of Woe and Underworld would be great examples of how this difficulty should be made. Whole party gets downed means that you get defeated and have to start again.
There could be a fee to enter aswell(Like the party would pay 1g to enter for example) , tho it’s not necessary in my opinion. Add something like this, and the end-game will stay challenging and rewarding for players who find the dungeons too easy.
Simple fix, add Underworld and Fissure of Woe. I think the format of GW1 Underworld and FoW would translate very well to GW2. Large open map around the size of an explorable zone, replace the quests with event chains that lead up to final boss event and make it hard, not by just the monster strength but the event objectives as well.
yeah that would be great as “elite” content.
Now it makes me wonder, where are all the people who were crying 1 months ago about dungeons being impossible, too difficult, ridiculously hard etc etc? Just as Devs said, 3 months after release people will complain that the dungeons are too easy. We are ~2 months after release now, and I already can find tons of people who seek for more challenge.
But yeah, I also mentioned it earlier – I would love it if we could see Underworld, FoW and DoA versions in GW2. I don’t believe they won’t appear here anymore, as they were the most enjoyable things to do in GW1 endgame. I’m awaiting new campaigns and updates with these addons. Hopefully they will be as enjoyable as in GW1.

but i always thought dungeons were to easy and thought i would get flamed on this post by people who think dungeons are to hard. :)
and i dont want to see DoA return ,UW and FoW i want to see them again ,but Doa is such a gw1 thing if you ask me.
