your top 5 additions/improvements
hard mode dungeons will never happen they got rid of their dungeon team.
1. Reward diversity in fractal choice.
2. Reward high level and challenging fractals.
3. The same fractal scale can only contribute towards your personal reward level a maximum of two times.
4. Add unique drops and rewards dor each fractal, based on lore and background of the level. (much work for devs, but potentially really cool, for example items or skins exclusive to molten maps or cliffside, chance and quality increasing with fractal scale)
5.Semi-hardcore pve content should be (slightly) more rewarding than open-world grinding. That applies to fractals as well as dungeons. That does not neccessarely apply to organization-requiring maps like dragons stand or other hot maps.

Don’t be so sure of that. At least some of the Fractals suggestions already posted in this thread will come to pass. I have the ear of both the Raids and the Fractals team, too, so if there’s a lot of public support for something I’ll make a convincing case for it.
This kind of thread can be very productive and helpful for the development team, though, so definitely keep posting your thoughts!
One of the vital points about threads like this is that you do not comment on previous statements but insetad write down your own ideas. So start getting some unique points in here, aint hurtin’ nobody.

to be fair 90% or some high number of suggestions will not be enacted, and with good reason. some will tho and thats great. im going to follow asrats advice and stop talking now and let other people post their thoughts.

While I’d like a fixup of dungeons I don’t think it’s on the cards.
Part of me wonders how they would do if they were added to the fractal lineup in some form. Like, you had two Fractal level tracks; one goes through the current fractals, the other goes through the story and explorable modes in series. There are, at a glance, 34 dungeons in both Story and Explorable so you could pretty comfortably fill 1-100 with three sets of runs.
But that’s really pie-in-the-sky stuff so idk.

- Fractal reworking : We do the same few levels each daily with badly designed instability, HP sponge at higher level and only 1 daily with reward worth it, etc.
- WvW reworking : WvW had issue and HoT made it worst with those new horrible maps.
- BALANCE, balance, balance. Ideally, separated between PvE and PvP. We need more option in term of good build, we need to get profession closer in term of efficiency, they need to work on all those useless crap each profession have (like Spirit Weapon on guardian, etc), and we absolutely need to balance between vanilla and elite spec.
- Quality of life update for the LFG and Build Template. The LFG should have more different tab, and be able to work with squad for both raid and open world.
- I would rather put dungeon hard more here, but it ain’t gonna happen so I’ll put HoT map reworking instead. A reworking of their structure mostly, not the content itself. For exemple, I rather that the maps were players driven like Silverwaste or at least a shorter time cycle like Dry Top than the 2 hours we see now.
