That can’t be true. If you get the glorious chest piece for medium armor, at least on males, you don’t get butt-capes because they are attached to the chest armor for medium folk. Then you can wear a wide variety of pants and many of them look great.

But you’re locked into one and only one chest piece.

Just saying, it’s not a matter of designers having trouble creating pants or even decent looking buttocks. I have no idea why there are so many butt-capes in the game.

There’s the Duelist armor for mediums. The shirt is long, but it’s long EVENLY. So less of a case of buttflaps and more waistflaps.

It’s helpful to point out there are some that don’t do it. Because it’s very limited and only proves my point. XD

Buttflaps. I’m proud of my work on my engineer when attempting to make an outfit close to an exosuit. And then I sometimes realize even this armor has buttflaps. That almost makes me cry at night.

Legacy heavy armor pants are kind of nice, still but flap, but smaller than most.
