Arenanet, you created a beautiful and elegant system called Specialisations. It allowed us to get consistent profession upgrades now, without any hassle or random skill additions.

Now I’m asking for you to finish the job. Please give every Skill branch an equal amount of skills to pick from. I know this is a lot of work, but this is a one-time job you’ll have to do. It’ll give every profession 2 more healing and 2 more elite skills. It will be glorious!

We got disappointed when you said Specialisation branches wouldn’t get released in Living world, and we understand that decision. But this is a perfect way to implement more skills in-between Expansions!

You can start by giving every profession 1 missing healing skill, and then half a year later 1 missing elite, and so on until every skill specialisation branch has 1 Heal, 4 Utility and 1 Elite.

I can’t see any reason for why this would be detrimental to the game. New skills = content which sees a lot more use. It could even spruce up PvP a lot, and WvW and PvE (in a smaller scale).

A reply to why not would be amazing. I just can’t see how adding 8 skills (except Revenant) to every class in half a year’s time intervals would be so hard to implement…

PS: I apparently forgot 1 healing skill is not included in your training screen, which is very confusing… Perhaps add it for consistency as well?

Examples:
Elementalist
Conjuring
- Heal: Mist Torches – Dual torches that give 5 healing skills. This is in complete contrast with Ice Bow, which is very offensive. Makes sense to give this skill Healing Power as a boost when wielded.

Signet
- Elite: Arcane Signet – Improves the recharge of elemental attunements, with them being instantly recharged at activation.

Arcane
- Elite: Arcane Surge – A critical Arcane Blast that activates an Arcane Wave when the target is hit. Grants the caster an Arcane shield.

Necromancer
Spectral
- Heal: Spectral Halo – Gain a spectral Halo, which turns condition damage on you into health.
