I’ve finally reached a point where I can craft ascended armor for my mesmer. I waited till I could make all pieces together as I thought it would be more cool that way. Then you guys announced the feature pack on the same day. I’m planning on making berserker armor as that is currently the meta for mesmers. My question to you mr/ms dev/cc is: should I wait for the upcoming blog coming this week and the next before I craft my armor (due to some changes to the game you have planned that would make me regret crafting my armor) or can I safely proceed?

This may sound like a dumb question but I’d really like to know. A simple yes or no is fine, no need to reveal anything. You might say: you’ve waited all this time why not wait another week? Not a big deal right? Wrong.. it is a big deal.. big deal for me. I cannot wait. I’m impatient as hell.. I finally have it now and I just want to maky my god dang armor. Having to wait another week would be excruciatingly painful to my mind. Unless I know it is for good reason other than mental torture.

You should at least wait until tomorrow for them to reveal all the new traits as well as the blog post on combat and crit.

Personally, I’d wait until after the patch.

I’m not a dev obviously, but we already know that the overall damage of Berserker is going to be reduced by about 10%. We also know that some new traits are coming that could make support builds more powerful. Some changes to encounters could also be on the way. All in all, it’s way safer to just wait till the feature patch is released and see how it plays out. Yeah, waiting four more week is hard, but making a potentially wrong choice now and having to redo it later is worse.
