I am wondering why Anet introduces Achievement Leaderboard for PvEers. I could understand (in facts welcome ) leaderboards for WvW and PvP. In case of PvP I think they should separate tPvP and sPvP but I digressed.

My personal experiences with the PvE community is a mixed one. Some people are very helpful while there are also a large amount of people who are less than helpful. Adding more competition in the PvE community as I can see will only promote more selfish behaviors.

It also make alot of people like myself feel like being in a race that we cannot win. I am having trouble keeping up with the dailies less alone getting a legendary and now the leaderboards?

So what are your thoughts?

All I’ve seen so far in my guild is people jokingly referring as how they must be number 101 or how the Leaderboards must’ve been bugged.

So far, I see little people that take it too seriously and I doubt it will have a significant impact on the PvE player’s behaviour.

It’s ok, man. Don’t worry, most of us dislike this kind of competition as much as you do. In fact I can say that with almost every mmorpg I play – the leader board is made for just a percentage of the players who want to be in it. And so, that also means that majority of the players don’t give a kitten.
