Hi there!

I’ve been wondering if there are any updates on the release date of Sea of Sorrows, the final novel. According to an e-mail from Ree Soesbee, posted on the wiki’s talk page, a good estimate of the release was June 2013. Since it’s June now I was hoping to find out a bit more as I haven’t been able to find any news on the release for a while.

BTW. where did you read that Sea of Sorrows is final novel??? As far as I understood, story is from time when Zhaitan destroyed old LA, so it is not like some trilogy

Well I remember it being announced that way officially, but I think that announcement disappeared from the website when the game was released and the lay-out changed. But on the GW2Wiki pages on all three books (Ghosts of Ascalon, Edge of Destiny and Sea of Sorrows) it’s stated that three novels will be released to serve as a bridge between the GW1 story and the GW2 story. The aim was to release all of them before GW2’s release, but the third novel got postponed. So (at least for now) only three GW2 novels.

Well I guess they still haven’t decided when they will be releasing Sea of Sorrows then…
