Imagine you play an Elementalist.
A farmer tells you to water his plants or a town pillaged by pirates is burning and you need to put it out

You have dagger/dagger skill 5 is a splash of water
staff skill five you make rain clouds and it rains…

Yet you still have to pick up a bucket of water to water plants and put out fires.

You can argue that, “well maybe your water spells are hitting the things to be watered too hard”

Okay so what about those times you need to light a campfire?
Don’t tell me fire fields or fire skills that set things on fire cant set those things on fire.

I mean you have the power of the elements at your fingertips yet you still need a rusty old torch :|

OR!

One of those classes that holds a torch, like a ranger that can ground target his torch.

So what that torch is above lighting a camp fire so you have to use a rusty old torch? :|

Whenever I see a Charr wearing that armor that sets their tail on fire, I always try to put it out with a water spell.

It never works but I always get some laughs

Every time I see a human in a COF armour with his arms exposed… im like, you poor poor person

I’m sure it would have been interesting to have fire extinguishing etc. require a water field on the target, with a nearby bucket having the ability to make a tiny one on the floor etc. but it would also require a good deal more work I imagine.

Haha, I know what you mean. There you are – THE ULTIMATE MISTRESS OF ALL ELEMENTS. But you can’t use your almighty firey shower of doom to remove that grawl paint. Nop. Have to grab a torch near those campfires. Yup. Makes you feel powerful indeed.
