I was half expecting the Back-piece to maybe have a more dynamic animation. I was curious to see whether or not Anet was going to apply a sort of “hovering” affect, similar to how The blue Knight of flies while stationary. It’d make the back-piece a lot more valuable that way, and It’d make it a lot more exclusive to those that have it. Not to mention it’d make them more iconic as a favored piece to those that get them.

Ideas guys?

The item is implemented now. I doubt they will change it, though a ‘hovering’ back piece in the future would be pretty cool.

If anything, they should make the blades obtainable without requiring Lvl 500 crafting – the cost is just mad.

Its a unique, ascended, infuseable, chose-your-stats backpiece craftable by any defensive profession, that can be multicolored. What more do you want?

Sure, the ascended part, where you choose your own stats are great, and extremely useful, I was just expecting “a little more” from the end result of the whole Scarlet event, which has been raging on for a long time now. It’s not like I feel shafted, I was just hoping that the final back piece was going to have a more “ascended” feel to it :P

Hmm why would i want my overweight norn hover? Of course it could be awesome if he could effortlessly dance through the air like some little fairy. Anyways i really like green one. Makes my char look even more stupid.
