Ascended droprate WAY too low.
I do them all everyday, including Teq & Tri wurm. I’ve had 1 Ascended weapon chest drop from Teq, fortunately it was something my main can use & I got a sceptre.
On a side note, a guild mate just had one drop from a Guild Bounty reward.
I would not mind an increase. I can make everything and have a lot of the mats, just would rather the gold from damask than the minimal stat increase I would get from the item.
If you really have done all that you’ve claimed you must have easily enough mats to craft ascended armor for more than one character.
the drops are just a bonus, crafting is the main way to get it imho
I have NEVER seen an ascended weapon or armor drop, let alone one with stats I actually want.
Crafting is the only viable option to get them.
I fail to see the problem here.

You yourself have to craft them, they’re account-bound on creation, aren’t they? I’d personally like it if they were sellable on the TP like precursors and legendaries (which are essentially ascended).

The problem here: top gearing tightly tied to crafting. And only to it. No options. No choices.
If they increase the drop rate of silk and lower level tailor mats I think armor ascended crafting will be better. It should be telling to them that all the tailor mats have shot up in price by a lot. At lower level mats, its mostly because lvl 80’s don’t get those drops and the lower level players don’t always know about salvaging. At the higher level, because silk is needed to craft medium and heavy armor on top of light armor, it also is at much higher cost, since you can only get it from salvaging. You get as much leather as you do silk, but the amount of silk that is consumed is much higher than the leather.
I don’t craft my ascended armor. Why? Because selling my Damask for 15g gives me more than a SLIGHT stat increase. The fact that Damask is 15g, while Elonian leather is 2, Spirit Wood is ~4g and Deldrimor Steel is 4g I think should indicate to the devs that crafting light armor is significantly more expensive than crafting any other armor set, giving a disadvantage to all light armor classes.

My partner got two Tequatl Hoards in two Teq runs, one after the other. It really is a matter of the odd dropping system on the game… I’ve gotten two ascended chests from Tequatl as well, doing casual runs, both different; yet no Hoards.
