I’ve been wondering, perhaps someone can enlighten me.

If I were to use one of the gem store back items that include a glider skin, and I don’t display the back item, will the glider skin still show when I’m gliding?

Back item and glider skins occupy different equipment/aesthetic slots, so to answer your question, yes.

For instance, I have the glittering wings backpiece on one of my characters, but use the black feather wings when gliding.
