Guild Wars 2

If the recent voting confirmed anything, it’s that GW2 has a lot of fans that want to see this current development team present their spin on events that are associated more with the original Guild Wars.

It would be difficult, for example, to do justice to the fall of Abaddon in a fractal (which, by their very nature are extremely short adventures in duration).

Has the team considered releasing a Bonus Mission Pack (much like we had in the original Guild Wars) to tell epic stories that go beyond the scope of the current game world? I can’t help but think this is something players would be interested in.

I’m 110% behind this. Give us more lore. And please no more soap-opera GW2 lore. Something serious and cool. GW1 had so many cool ideas – hope we can see some of them back.

GW1 was epic in all departments. GW2 only looks epic, but fails in several departments.

I love this idea. There’s so much lore about Tyria (the world, not just the continent) that doesn’t come across in GW2. Fractals hint, and dialogue near ruins here and there touches lightly as well, but I would dearly love to see some of the more famous GW events revisited or explored more fully GW2-style. There’s such a wealth, it really is a shame that only the lore-hounds know about it.

Definitely would love a Bonus Mission Pack yearly for this game. That’d be purty cool.

Swiping my credit card on the side of my monitor doesn’t seem to be working. I would easily spend gems on that content. I had a ton of fun playing GW1 BMP and the unique skins we got from them.
