Boomerang Axe Skin
With the rangers throwing their axes like a bummerang in some ocasions, i am corious why it haven’t happened before.
Maybe in the design of a curves blade/axe, that is used like a machete and blurrs the lines.
Probably would have to be boomerangs with teeth, so warriors & necros can still viably use them, but yeah. This is a cool idea!
That would be a fun weapon! I’d also like to see a hook hand that’s a dagger, perfect for a pirate thief.
A kangaroo pet would have good knockback(kickback?) potential. And maybe a fun mini, especially if it had boxing gloves. And hey, then you can bring back boxing gloves to the gem store. But that’s another thread...

Another Ranger knockback? No, please no!

I love this idea!
It would be really fun to use with some of the skills that involve throwing an axe.

Adding a new skin for the weapon doesn’t change the skills, and rangers don’t have knockback on axe.
In fact rangers only have 3 land-based knockback skills, the same as elementalists and fewer than warriors or engineers. But there seems to be a common myth among some players that any time an enemy changes position unexpectedly it’s because a ranger has magically used a knockback skill on a weapon that doesn’t have one. Even if there isn’t actually a ranger in the group.

Yeah ok, even when I play as a ranger I don’t need another knockback, and not from a pet. Maybe instead it could leap and stomp the ground, dazing enemies.
But these are only what ifs
