Q:

I love the idea of the ferocity stat and I think it will great incentive for PvE players to try a more tanky aproach. However here is a story…

Deep in the world of WvW we have been using Damage dealt against damage received ratios tfor the battles of 300 brave souls that happen in the mists. For the longest time it was know far and wide by the WvW community that Crit damage on accessories are the most valuable(about 8 stats per 1% crit damage while armor can go up to 16 stats per 1% crit damage). So the players fought long and hard until obtaining their desired ascended bezerker accessories and tanky armor. And thusly the players had the 44% crit damage from their accessories and they rejoiced. And it was so until a storm apeared on the horizon, this storm threatened to turn their 44% crit damage into a 22.15% crit damage making it no longer worth the ratio of damage dealt to damage taken from before. And now my children here we stand, the storm at our door and about to rush down on us in just a few days, but will all our hard work have been for naught? will this change destroy the the beauty that we had before… OR will the deities be merciful, allow us to change our accessories, as they once did for what was known as Magic find?

So anyone know? If the story was too much the question is the title.

From the lack of answers I am assuming no announcement has been made on this. So for now I shall assume that we will get to keep our now useless crit damage accessories.
