Guild Wars 2

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to have play GW2 in Chinese, while in North America? My girlfriend is Chinese, and wants to play the game. She speaks decent (good, in fact) English, but I was hoping that the option of having the natural language for her be available if there is a way?

I’m guessing that picking up the Chinese copy won’t list any NA servers, so I was wondering if there was such a way to have the Chinese language option on an NA/EU copy?

I rather doubt they are going to add any new languages to the NA/EU versions anytime soon. If they do it will probably be European languages as there aren’t enough Chinese speakers on the NA/EU to be cost effective for them.

I was wondering this as well. Just bought a copy for a Chinese friend after the announcements about HOT today. My friend really likes it, but I think the experience would be much better and things would be easier to “get” if Chinese was an option.

If the client exists in China I see no reason there shouldn’t be an option to import other languages. Naturally, it would be moderately memory consuming and not for everyone, but the option to download a language pack would be nice.

So can this question be properly answered about Chinese language packs for an NA copy of the game?
