All i want is an elite dungeon like UW/Fow/DOA etc
Something that is terribly difficult and time consuming(2-3 hrs) But it is quite rewarding.
And when i mean quite rewarding, I mean trash mobs have chance to drop valuable items that can drop at the rate of “rares”
u forgot the most important one, new weapons and new weapon skills
I am moving off this forum and focusing on each of these as separate issues. Thanks for feedback everyone. I have deducted that more people WANT GvG and Guild Halls by a large margin than that of those who do not care or do not want.
Based on what though? Have you been collecting this data for a long time now? Because there are only a handfull of posts on this thread… its not even to page 2 yet lol.
I will still keep this forum going but there are a lot of things on here it is hard to focus up one thing not many people are going to be yes yes yes to everything on here. Mainly I am talking about “Lobbying” for GvG and Guild Halls on separate forums, I really feel those two things almost everyone wants, based on this forum i guess (like you said not much feedback) and reddit, in game chatter, and passed forums from every website on gw2.
how about increase blc key drop rates by 100 % or make them 10s at a merchant as they are to dam expensive to by via gems since you generally get crap in them.
Yes to all except mount.

There was a great thread posted on new weapons and weapon types but they would CHANGE the game in a big way, these are more quality of life changes that would not change functionality of game. Basically if all these were added people could go on doing what ever they are doing right now and not notice any difference. Those who want to have a lot of fun with the game and find fun stuff to do,(Especially end game) would notice HUGE difference.
I saw this thread earlier today, it feels closer to what the community wants. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/archive/suggestions/Future-Content-All-Suggestions/ Sadly, it got lost in the now archived suggestions forum.
Here is that link if you want it.
“We also want to get a couple more major gameplay types out there for players to pick between,” – game director Colin Johanson
“We have a couple of really big Guild Wars projects cooking in the background,”
- game director Colin Johanson
“we absolutely are going to do sweeping new features that you would traditionally only get in expansions – large regions, content and progression additions to your characters in the form of growth and professions and races. Those are all things that you will see in the lifespan of Guild Wars 2.”
- game director Colin Johanson
Thought you all might like those quotes.

Nothing is off the table.
Yep, that is why I want to keep a list like this going it is not crazy to think they might see it and bring up some of the ideas.
Ah, I see your point about the big changes. And I have to agree with everyone on the “Guild Wars”, I mean, the title doesn’t have anything to do at all with the content. I’m not even in a guild now, but I’d still like to see GvG and guild halls.

Some people will argue that “GUILD WARS” title is about the lore not the combat system. I just want the option, I won’t get into a lore argument about it haha.
New idea, Fee Way Points- if a waypoint is contested then you can pay additional fee to go their anyways. Good or bad idea?
More fun to get achievements* (Such as drinking at yaks bend)
Bring back AI support for dungeons, customization bot AI to fight with you. (Story mode dungeons only)
Is it just me, or does the title of this thread change daily…or even more often?
Never make up my mind.
Check out GW1 Polymock Arena for an idea of exactly how "Mini Battles’ could be emplemented. Polymock was a Pokemon sort of battle with a GW skill twist added. You started with a ‘default set’ of 3 Polymocks and could collect more as you win. When entering a round you would choose 3 Polymock Pieces to do battle with. There was a system of rarity, similar to ours now with minis, where pieces were more powerful the higher level of rarity they were. But you could only have of the highest rarity. Blue, green, and gold. So you could have 3 blues, 2 blues and a green, a blue and 2 greens, 2 blues and a gold or a blue a green and a gold. It was a very fun game and each piece had only 5 skills which were ‘fairly balanced’ though there were a few that were kind of OP once you could finally aquire them. I think this same system could be applied to minis though with the huge amount of minis, programming the skills would be a bit of work for animations, effects, and balance so perhaps they might have to release a set of “Polymock Minis” which could have a much more shallow pool to choose from and be mixed between a reward system in game, some in the gem shop, and mabe rarer ones as a prize for consecutive wins or by some sort of ‘arena point system’. I don’t think it would be a whole lot more difficult than say the SAB or something of that nature as the arena itself wouldn’t have to be the grandiose thing. The toughest aspect would be the ‘polymock mini set’ and the skills/balance.
This isn’t just something like SAB or other events though that once you beat them it’s over and there’s no incentive to return. The Polymock Arena might not appeal to every single player but it is still an addition to the game that would have LIFELONG PLAYABILITY (as far as the game is active anyway.)
There could also be some Gem Store related items such as diffent Polymock Pieces as well as, perhaps, new Polymock Arena Backgrounds. IE. the standard is just a gladiator style arena but those who host a match might be able to take the fight to a ‘jungle scene’ or a battle to the death in Mt. Maelstrom, coordinating the background with the ‘flavor’ of the chosen mini set. There were also NPC enemies you could go up against to earn prizes so it wasn’t PvP Polymock but it could be as well. Perhaps the loser would give up his lowest ranked pieces but idk.
Sorry i’ve rambled too long, though I did enjoy the first incarnation very much as frustrating as it could be.
1.) Guild Wars: I don´t mind. I am not a fan of PvP in any form and i have no intent of taking part in it at all.
2.) Guild Halls: I don´t like the ideas of GH again. They served no real purpose in GW1 already. And they mostly were empty, so i guess it would be the same for GW2 as well.
3.) Cosmetic Mounts: No Mounts. If i would have wanted those i would play WoW now.
4.)Lots of Player events in WvW: I am indifferent as i don´t play WvW at all
5.)WvW Champs and Weapons: Again, i am indifferent
6.) Mini Battles: Yes, if they make minis more achievable. And don´t tell me they are already, only because you can get a couple of free Jennahs.
7.)More Mini: Sounds nice to me. Especially more Charr minis
8.)Gambling: No. Gambling is a bad idea and shouldn´t be included in a game available to minors at all.
9.)Build Templates: Yes. What a nice idea to improve QoL
10.) Activities Tab: Indifferent to that one.
11.) Guild Capes: Not really needed imo.
12.) DC Requeue for Dungeons: I thought this was already in the game.
